i know a lot of people dont like Kanye West at all but you have to admit, he kept it cool and he fkn freestyled the whole ending using autotune and it actually sounded better then the real song, it was fkn awesome and total pwnage.

I personally love kanye west! been to 3 of his shows and until his 2008 melbourne concert, have never been disappointed. He was pretty cool up until about half way through and i found the 'eat shit and die' pretty funny, but after he told off the key player and has his last 2 songs go for 40mintues and put everyone to sleep, i was pretty let down. He is a damn innovator and i expected this concert to be as good as the others. Tho i love him it sounded like he had a mini meltdown on stage!

daft punk and other House bands have been using auto-tune for this effect for a long time. its only in recent years artist like T-Pain and Kanye have started taking some inspiration from these House bands.

even though i'm a fan of his music, he's been acting a complete tool in his personal life. i wouldn't count this as one of those moments though. most would react this way to having a coin thrown at them. besides the crowd seemed to enjoy it
To be clear. He's using his voice and his mouth to control a computer program that filters and auto-tunes his voice into only the melodic notes. Respected professionals both on the musical and the engineering side of auto-tune technology are more likely to call it "cheating" than "singing."
