@@langleykirkwood8682 I’m sorry for your plight my friend but i was once in your shoes before i was recommended to Mr Mason and thats how i passed My real estate exam.
I only studied a lot when i went for the first time last year but the second time was so easy, all thanks to my aunt who introduced me to Mr Mason am really grateful.
Thank you for this great info. I looked at all your videos to help make my school decision and I think your videos are the most professional. I wanted to mention that Kaplan DOES provide online videos. It is not only text based. They have an option to purchase on demand instruction, where you watch a pre-recorded video by the instructor, and sometimes the instructor will also add interactive videos within their course. I'm just getting started with Kaplan, but so far I'm really enjoying it.
Hi Gina: Thank you for the feedback! In regard to Kaplan being text-based, we meant to say that it was mainly text-based in the main course but of course there is some interactive content with videos as well. Yes, you need to purchase an extra option to watch video by instructors but that's an add-on. Please let us know how you do with the Kaplan course. We would like to know how you progress and how it goes when you go to take your state exam.
Kaplan offerings vary by state. The options include live classroom, video on demand, and text-based. Some of the texts-based courses have video summaries.
Which would you say is the best real estate school as far as content? I'm in California and trying to find the best online school I can get. Any recommendations would be much appreciated. Just subscribed
We think the content of Real Estate Express is very good. It's a bit more text based but very good content. That being said, we love the interactive content of AceableAgent. They also have good content it's just laid out in a bit more interactive way than Real Estate Express. It just depends on what type of learner you are. If you don't mind a bit more of a text based course, Real Estate Express is the best in terms of content. However, if you are an interactive learner, AceableAgent would be the way to go. Both are very good courses. You can access each course here: Real Estate Express (affiliate link): www.realestateschooler.com/go/real-estate-express-california/ AceableAgent (affiliate link): www.realestateschooler.com/go/aceableagent-california/
Don’t go with aceable agent I currently chose it thinking it’ll be videos and practice work but in CA it’s just a PDF and nothing else no learning activities or videos
Pardon my ignorance. But upon finishing the course (which ever one decides to purchase, that being with Kaplan or RealEExpress) the option to take the Exam is Included WITH your Course Purchase OR is that done separately?
Hi Margot Are you referring to the state licensing exam or the course final exam? If you're referring to the state licensing exam, once you successfully complete your pre-licensing course and pass the course final exam, whether with Kaplan or Real Estate Express, you will then need to separately take your state's real estate license exam. How this is done depends on your state. Which state are you in?
@@realestateschooler Hey, thank you sm for replying! Really. I’m in TX. I’m about to dive in so I’m just familiarizing myself with everything. Not thinking too much, just informing myself on my options. I heard it doesn’t ‘matter’ much where you go to school to. At the end of the day it’s the same material, except a “better” education per se. What matters is passing your Exam. If you have any advice (I haven’t heard it all) I’d appreciate your input. Thank you again! Hope to hear from you.
@@allygaretzka2323 While you're correct, schools do teach much of the same material, it's more about how the material is presented, the platform it's delivered on, and the support offered. For Texas, there are some clear choices that are better. You can read our guide on the top schools in Texas here: www.realestateschooler.com/real-estate-schools-in-texas/ Please look closely at the #1 and #3 listed schools as these would be the two we would recommend. Both have amazing platforms to take the course on, both offer self-paced learning, and both have support when you need it.
Kaplan was a great school. I enjoyed the live class. Although, the dashboard for me was very different looking. Interesting...guess you applied for a different program?
@@sweav88 @It’s Eilly Yes, what are the live classes like? We prefer the online self-paced option. In our opinion just gives more freedom when taking the course. However, some do like having a live instructor.
