@@Ravix0fFourHorn I just finished watching a great assemblage of talent known as KARA, a group I still love and admire. Then the smile was ripped from me by your comment. Is it really necessary to put this type of vibe and comment out into the world? We all have our own beliefs, and sometimes it is prudent to monitor when and where to broadcast them. A lot of followers of KARA, and specifically Hara, were, and still are very sensitive about her passing. Please consider being considerate of them and a bit more gentle...
kara has that specific style that you can easily identify, they all sound good when they harmonize during the chorus. no kpop group will ever have the same sound as theirs
5 of them also have their own unique voice. It’s so easy for us to recognise their voice. I miss them in kpop industry esp Goo Hara. May her soul rest in love
T-ara, SNSD, Kara, 4minute and Afterschool are the groups i strated to love Kpop, but seeing T-ara not be that popular-Jessica out of SNSD, Kara not active, 4minite Disband, and Afterschool not active+original members left breaks my heart :(
I came here after done streaming their latest masterpiece. I teared up seeing how they paid tribute to our lovely Hara in the mv. I had been wishing for them a comeback and I finally got it before 2022 ends. Thank you, KARA!
For those of you who are sad about their "disbandment" On April 13 (2016), Park Gyu-ri revealed that the group did not disband and that the members hoped to release new albums in the future. She stated: "While Kara has not disbanded, we are no longer under the same agency and our promotions are likely to be less frequent...I guess that word best describes our situation of being apart. People might get the impression [that we've disbanded], but we are still keeping in touch, and if there's a good opportunity, we're thinking of releasing a Kara album. I honestly don't think that we've disbanded." (wikipedia) You're welcome. :)
disinfect777 Like what the facts state, and like what Margareth Heo said about SS501, they are only under diff. agencies and said themselves that they do not consider themselves disbanded. Yeah, what they said was real, how about you get with it?
disinfect777 K, well if that's what you think, then so be it. Think what you want, I'm not stopping ya. But as a Kamilia, I'll listen to her words instead. If Gyu-ri says they aren't disbanded, then I will consider them not. Obviously they aren't really Kara anymore, but if they think so, then so will I. Even if they all do get back together and do something while not under the name Kara, I would still call them Kara, because that's still who they are and who they still consider themselves. Just cause they "disband" doesn't mean everything's 100% over. They still keep in touch and are still like family. So I'll stay on the positive side like I like to do with things. You can feel free to dwell in the negative all you want. Hope you feel good about it, lol. Guess it's a good time to mute this post anyway. Peace.
reading this comment makes a lot of memories about how popular KARA back then. Even Kara is the first kpop girl group that have their concert on Tokyo Dome, make an ost for Naruto series, and others nice memories. Every Kara song is nice and fun... not such a girl crush concept but also not cute, they are unique. I really love my journey in this kpop world with Kara...
@@spinaderosa Kara literally paved the way for Kpop girl groups in Japan just like TVXQ did to boy groups, nowadays people tend to forget about it and how huge Kara were, specially in Japan which is the 2nd biggest music market in the world and super competitive, till this day they are the most memorable Korean girl group for Japanese people, except for Twice of course but Twice has 3 Japanese members so they have an easier way in Japan, and also thanks to Kara-sumbaenim of course!
Can’t believe this song is over a decade old. I remember when this song dropped, I had just started my senior year in high school. Watching the teaser trailer daily before it dropped and when it dropped was totally blown away by how awesome this song was. I love this song as much today as I did back then.
Absolutely, undeniably, one of the best k-pop songs of all time. Great video, great composition, stellar production and of course a fantastic performance from KARA. This is where they took the KARA sound to its most elaborate, grand peak. This could be a release from a new group today and I would still be impressed by the performance and how ambitious the whole production is, and on top of that it doesn't even sound dated. 39m views for a k-pop video from 2012 is quite a lot, but it still deserves a lot more.
It's HEARTBREAKING KARA is disbanding! But it's been a BEAUTIFUL JOURNEY and I hope all the girls have a WONDERFUL time finding their next place! I do hope Youngji stays at DSP and makes a girl group around her! ; )
Rafael Baldini Yessss I really fucking miss those days.. When tier 1 girl groups were Kara, Snsd, 2ne1. tier 2 were f(x), t-ara, 4 minute, beg. tier 3 were like secret, sistar, and others T_T. The good old days of kpop.
lukaszepesi It's not that those groups aren't big anymore just that power has shifted. Kara, WG, 2ne1, SNSD have not put out huge hits in a very long time (think Mister, Gee, I Am The Best, Be My Baby). Instead you have other groups getting hit songs (Sistar, Girl's Day, A-Pink). The new groups are making good songs but...they are just no comparison to the old days. I guess kpop nowadays just lacks the same excitement when you hear a group is making a comeback.
I swear I come back to these videos every now and then and am always so impressed with how timeless they are. Like if most gen 2 songs were released today they’d just as big as Black Pink and BTS are in the western world. Although, I am glad I got to experience them back when there was still a small elite group of us in the western side that loved kpop. We’re the lucky few that knew it before PSY exposed it to the world. Todays kids say “oh yea I’ve loved kpop since Blackpink” and I’m just like, “oh oh oh you’re so adorable 😂”
Nowadays almost everyone in kpop (all from sm, yg, bighit, gyp) is illuminat and it's dangerous to listen to them. Thank God and His Holy Mother that Kara is out of something bad. Kamilia, we are the luckiest for sure! I wish the girls all the love and i'm really want to say 'Thank you!' to them in person!
This is the first ever song I watched when I stumbled upon Kpop. That too this was an accident, I was searching for a manga called pandora hearts and saw this in my suggestions, I don't regret clicking on it one bit :')
@@im.meghan I've seen this argument made before, and it's honestly sad. I suppose you think you have a transcendent world-view, when really you're just rediscovering old ignorance. There's no "nature" in the "natural selection" you're endorsing. What you're actually endorsing here is SOCIAL Darwinism, which are old-fashioned ideas with no merit in modern society. Social Darwinism has no ties to Charles Darwin, or his work regarding the evolution of species. Rather, it takes his well-known work, points it at a social issue, and says: "same thing". But that's folly, because taking reputable ideas and form-fitting them onto your own isn't a good way to discover truths. Rather, it's a good way to create lies. Go ahead and take an internet history tour, and learn about some of the great causes which waved the flag of Social Darwinism in support of their overarching philosophies, such as Nazism and eugenics, colonialism, and slavery. Bad terminology out of the way, you apparently believe that someone who cracks under the pressure of sustained faceless harassment is unfit to live, when you've surely never experienced anything close to the level she did. I'm sure you've been cut before, and it didn't kill you. So you doubt the fitness of someone who succumbed to a thousand cuts? I can only hope you've grown a little in the year since this comment.
@@rahafkamilia8717 But this doesn't mean that we have to forget them. For me, they still being a IT group... What these girls did was something amazing and what they sing was really GOOD, anthem indeed
This song are 7 years ago? How the hell I’m very sure if this come in 2019, this will be the biggest hit. The MV, the set, their outfit, their makeup all a very visual appealing How I miss KARA and I’m getting old
Lagu ni masa keluar agak popular jugak laaa, mng banyak jigak kat music bank .tapi kalau keluar skrg lagi okey, sbb music arrangement dia best pd aku.tapi ye lahh skrg kara pun da tak aktif kan,bg kat retis kpop yg baru pulak .
@@kimmijin6731 yes their songs are catchy but the lyric isn't that good for example boombayah, ddudddudu etc. Also i didn't like lisa rap, maybe every kpop rap is bad except some
Rap song ruined pop music just like what happened to 80s music in the past. Artists started to talk in the song, not singing. Kpop is no exception. Nowadays, 80% of kpop songs are rap, not pop. I personally don't like rap songs and that's why i am here to enjoy real kpop music.
I'm making a journey of watching and listening to the groups and songs that made Kpop as popular as now and i'm leaving this comment on every group i listen to. I miss their days , i just wish i can go back in time 💔 MBLAQ , BEAST , INFINITE , Super Junior , BIG BANG , SHINEE , SS501 , TVXQ , FT.Island , CN Blue, 2PM , 2AM , U-Kiss , Teen Top , Led Apple , Block B , Boyfriend , Shinhwa.. etc T-ara , Jewelry , Brown Eyed Girls , Wonder Girls , Girls Generation , Sistar , After School , Kara , Davichi , 4minute , F(x) , Secret , Rainbow , 2ne1 , Girl's Day , Miss A , Nine Muses , Apink , Dalshabet , Stellar , Rania.. etc Those are the ones which are the legends of kpop and i miss them 😭
omg, same, I wish I could... please bring me back to that era, when everythings are still nice, there aren't any worries and too much pain like nowadays... just bring me back... :'(
Still here in 2022... Was listening to this when I was 15 now 25 still here... Happy 10th anniversary Pandora! When it was released I remembered this was so ahead of its time!
@swatpolice911delta Whatever she's an idiot or not, who cares? BECAUSE SHE'S ALREADY GONE. It's meaningless to criticize again. In contrast, you are still commenting sth like that, how aren't you an idiot?
I still can't bring myself to get over the fact that JiYoung is no longer a part of KARA... this is the first time I have been able to return to watching their videos since then
I can’t believe this was 10 years ago. This song gave me so much life as a teen as did all their other songs. I’m so happy that Kara has blessed us with their passionate musical selves throughout the years.
Kara is really fit with mysterious concept, like Lupin, and Pandora. I miss Nicole so much! She's my forever bias. Hope there will be a featuring between all of them~
+Chanyapat Chaisawat (Air Wineberrii) oops yeah i hope they do something together again sadly that will probably never happen they're all doing completely different things from each other
Here in the U.S., this song came in at #56 on Billboard's Best K-Pop Songs of the 2010s. I'm very happy about this, cause I really love this song and the group. It was KARA, that made me take notice, fall in love with, and adore K-Pop, to this day. I miss the group, and Goo Hara, so very much.
@@hidayahyaya9058 after the 5 of them took photo together for 15 years annuversary, i heard some news that, they talk to DSP. I hope they talk about a song at least 😊😊
There's nothing we could do but to reminisce the memories of Goo Hara.. She's been a fighter. But she got tired.. Rest in Peace, little angel. No more sadness. ❤
I'm only a casual fan but even after all these years I'm always so drawn to Nicole. Legit cannot take my eyes off of her when she's on screen. God she's gorgeous.
Completely agree. But in my opinion I think a majority of Kara's promoted songs are better suited for Jpop. I almost wish they were born a Jpop group. Haha. The Korean is okay, but there's something about their style that just screams Jpop. And this is coming from someone who was an avid Jpop listener with almost no knowledge of Kpop years ago, then finding Kara's music some of the most "attracting".
JiJiSanFan Well I think it's the melody and beat. The group loves kind of a Pop/EDM/slight hip hop feel. And I love that :) But in Japan age is a big factor, Male groups go further whether of age while female groups tend to subside as they age.
JiJiSanFan KARA is the most popular Kpop group that promotes in Japan. Since there's more money to be made in Japan than Korea, they tend to cater to a more Jpop sound. Which I find refreshing among Kpop groups, since they're the only one with the Jpop sound. All of their songs after their Japanese debut began to have it. IMO "Damaged Lady" has the most Jpop-esque sound.
The end with jiyoung, nicole and hara doing the rap while being fierce and beautiful plus gyuri and seungyeon with the vocals and also being fierce is the better climax of all time in kpop Wow they were no joke
