Thanks for the very helpful video. Just a couple of questions: - There're now 2 options for Analyzing a model, Analyze I vs Analyze II, i.e. 1st order theory vs 2nd order theory for deflections. Which one would you recommend using? Or which one was used in this video when that was the only default option available? - Just wanted to confirm if the "Resultant Sectional Forces" is the same as the "Beam Resultant Forces" (Same icon)? Because only the latter is available on the student version of Karamba I have. They do seem to give similar outputs, although the BeamResultantForces option has more inputs. Also, have you uploaded a video as to how you created the model in your example? The Grasshopper file is already available, but it's pretty hard for a first-time user like me to visualise and understand what exactly is going on in the Grasshopper panels.
just a small question - at 2:17 you use the cull pattern node. wouldn't it make more sense to use the dispatch node instead? or is there a certain reason?
Good question. In my experience the two are very similar. The only difference is the dispatch node keeps all the data but separates it into streams, while the cull pattern node deletes all the 'false' data. I use them interchangeably. Thanks for looking!
