Karatsu Kunchi[Yoiyama] 

Karatsu Kunchi is Karatsu Shrine's annual autumn festival held on November 2nd,3rd,and 4th every year.
It is Karatsu's largest event and is designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.
This time, I went to see Yoiyama on November 2nd.

In preparation for the Otabisho Shinko the next day, 14 Hikiyama join
together and aiming to reach Karatsu Shrine while cruising through the old castle town.
14 Hikiyama floats lit with paper lanterns looked very dreamy.
