Great great man!!! I was at his last game as a Milwaukee Buck I believe. It was at Cobo Arena in Downtown Detroit and I saw KAREEM walking through Cobo Hall to the Ponchetrain Hotel. I tried to catch up with him but his legs were too long and he was walking too fast. But I'll never forget the night that I couldn't catch up to KAREEM!!! Thanks for the memories. May God bless you and keep you always!!

@@georgepetrov5669 In my opinion, he's the forgotten man because he was not as flashy as Magic, Jordan etc etc. Moreover, he was such a discreet man, did not speak that much to the media, did not showboating or brag in any way. But he's BY FAR the best Center of all time. To me, he's N°2 on my All Time list behind Jordan.

How’s it overused it’s used for the top 20 players mainly how could it be Overused when people say oh that guys a legend it’s just a joke they could be good but there are 2 legends in the league now but once 2 other players retire they will be legends as well LeBron and KD in my opinion are the only players allowed to be called legends right now but we the other 2 when they retire Curry and Kawhi they will be legends as well

When Bill Russell ask you to be some place, even the NBA all time leading scorer and most renowned and accomplished basketball player at every level (high school, college and NBA), you be there. @Rick Jeffrey He had the blocks record until Hakeem took it. And they didn’t count blocks the first 4 seasons when he was dynamite. Also 3rd all time rebounds. Can’t say he didn’t play defense

@@ShadowBanned904 I don’t agree with any of that. Little else? He was a great rebounder and a good passer as far as centers go. A quick look at his stat line and game footage will show you that. His game sense and basketball iq are apparent as well. On top of that, he was a great defender for a substantial amount time. He’s an all time great because he scored in addition to all these other positive attributes

@@nishmon80 my eyes told me different. I am old enough to actually see him play. I didn't witness any of that. I was not old enough when he was a "defensive dynamite" his first 4 years in the league. At 7'2" tall, I would hope he'd be able to snag a few rebounds.

Perhaps some people don't think a sports league should endorse a purely subjective value system. Social justice, by definition, is subjective. It is not objective. This is why, for example, the criminal jury trial exists vs. a single person handing down a verdict.
