Hello, mga ka-Badette!
Magkasama kami sa TV Patrol every week pero ngayon ko lang nakilala ang isang Karen Davila bilang ina at ilaw ng tahanan. Kilala siya bilang matapang, an award-winning broadcast journalist at women's advocate. But off-screen, she's an art enthusiast supporting local Filipino artists and more importantly, a mother and a wife.
Karen shares her humble beginnings at kung ano ang kanyang motivation to keep on fighting in life. Hindi naging madali ang buhay for Karen, but her parents taught her to be brave and always put their family first. Ayaw na niyang maranasan na maghirap sa buhay kaya naman she made sure to work hard and keep her priorities intact.
At the height of her career, life threw her a curveball to a point that made her question if may mali ba sa kanya when her son David, who has autism, came into their lives. Pero hindi nawalan ng lakas ng loob si Karen - inaral niya, inalam niya on how to support kids with special needs to reach their potential.
