£22 entry, no running, no laughing, no photos, no trainers, no dogs, no smiling…..welcome to fun park. I love the way they are pretending to be police but in reality they are just there. What horrible and rude people so glad they didn’t realise they were being filmed. Had the ginger one been drinking she was all over the place.
She gleefully trotted out and proclaimed herself law enforcement within the grounds of the garden, and then insisted on being treated like a regular member of the public when demanding her privacy be respected.
Sounds like the “Gardens are in a flight path. Do they prohibit British Airways from flying over. If an airplane crashed into one of their precious buildings it would do more damage than your DJI Mini. Go fly your drone. They don’t know what they are talking about.
Imagine if they said "Sure, as per the law, you may fly from outside of our private land, into the CAA controlled air space, please be advised that you will be responsible for any accidents or incidents caused by your legal drone flight which would be subject to a police investigation. Thanks for publicising our site for free of charge, and we look forward to viewing the video". Nah, that would be boring. 😀
That high pitched voice from the pretend Constable who is getting frustrated because she has zero powers and is so insulting it's shocking. You must have so much patience to do what you do DJ because there is no way I would not be able to tolerate these people and their nonsense.
@@PK-dt3xf kind of ;) they do have the powers of the metropolitan police but laughably have no authority to initiate an investigation, the history of this goes back to the 1800s they don't even have to be sworn in as normal police so are not held to the same standard, they are really providing an advanced ranger service these days. The other parks used to have police but they all let it go.
In their own regs it say no drones can be used ONSITE, since your not doing it ONSITE but from public there’s nowt they can do. All those employees need to be retrained!
The last time I went to Kew Gardens it was directly over the approach to Heathrow. A plane flew over about every 30 seconds. In fact you could see several planes lined up to land. Did they tell easyJet not to fly over. In fact listening to this I have already heard a plane going over.
So they’re not too worried about thousands of tonnes of metal and aviation fuel passing overhead. Yet a 250g drone with basically 4 moving parts is a problem.
I have thought and thought and I can't think of any reason why this wouldn't work. Maybe he could print off some invoices to make it look more official? For a very small fee he could arrange for electronic payments via a hand held terminal.
@@MSM101they are taking food from his children’s mouth by not allowing him to fly & earn from footage ! Even ACTS & STATUTES so called LAW is only legislation of the UNITED KINGDOM 🇬🇧 that’s a PRIVATE CORPORATION & NOT a country!!! THIS IS ENGLAND formerly known as ALBION ❤
So their logic would be to ban birds, planes and anything thing and everything, and all stay at home wrapped up in bubble wrap in case any accidents happened...fu@k me how did humans even adventure out from the caves
Why does this DJ.... draw out the conversations with staff by going over the same points time after time...??.... It's repetitious in many of his recent visits and becoming VERY BORING.......
The constabulary consists of a sworn security manager/chief officer, two section leaders/sergeants, eight constables and four non-sworn operations team members (responsible for CCTV / Control Room / Pass Office). As of 2017, the force had 20 members of staff. Essentially special security guards!
The Kew Constables are attested under section 3 of the Parks Regulation Act 1872. Such constables have "in addition to any powers and immunities specially conferred on him by this Act, shall, within the limits of the park of which he is park constable, have all such powers, privileges, and immunities, and be liable to all such duties and responsibilities, as any police constable has within the police area in which such park is situated". As a result, constables of this very small constabulary have the powers of constables of the Metropolitan Police within the land belonging to the Royal Botanic Gardens in addition to those powers possessed as a Kew Constable but without being sworn as constables under the legislation applicable to the Metropolitan Police. These constables rarely use their police powers and generally perform a patrol and ranger service.
only reason it goes round in circles is bc theyre stubborn. Always interesting to see how they react, these guys were fairly friendly and decent. If you're bored, says more about you than the content 😅. He only did Kew because its near Hampton Court. Wouldn't be going round in circles if they allowed it, so....???
When are these YTubers going to learn that if they are told: "We're asking you nicely. . ." or "I'm politely asking you . . ." it has the same force as a law, in fact it's the supreme law and absolutely must be obeyed!
Years ago hail stones caused a lot of damage to the glass houses, just about all the glazers in London came to reglaze the houses saving the collection. It's another case of my law trumps the law of the land with this lot.
34 minutes of waffle, then drone. Tell them you're flying it as you are allowed, no flight restrictions, and the airspace is clear and leave. You were informing them out of courtesy so they don't get anyone panicking over a drone flying overhead. No need for these big conversations where they never listen anyway.
Quite a tedious interaction. He keeps saying his gonna fly the drone regardless. Even the Kew lady gets exasperated and says 'well do it then," - 10 minutes later, he's still saying I'm gonna fly regardless...crack on man and fly the bloody drone!
Firstly the are not the only constabulary in country, York Minster has its own constables as do other sites, ports have their own constables too. They are in effect a private security with policing powers on the site or designated area. But they are more glorified security officers. Love how they start off with that crap!
Despite the fact you know the law well and where you can and can’t do things - it’s shame you have nothing better to do than spend your daily life harassing and winding people up who are just trying to do their job - just so you can get quick out of it.
I watch all of these and on DJ Audits and find the content fascinating but let's not fool ourselves; semi-secretly filming people like this and then posting it is pretty unreasonable behaviour and to say otherwise is deluded. Interesting results, but really not very fair on these people, regardless of how wrong they are. If you were to announce that you're recording when you arrive then that's different but as it is it's not very cool and it's exploitative. But then, that's part of the intrigue and I enjoy watching. I'm comfortable with my conflicted and hypocritical approach 😂. Obviously they carried on after they knew anyway 🤷♂ but you'd already hooked them in by that point. I wouldn't be at all surprised if all these audit videos result in a law change that clamps further down on our rights.
Back in the 60's it was one old penny entrance fee and you went through old turnstiles to get in, it's now a licence to print money. The no running / exercising / cycling nonsense is practically in all park byelaws which are antiquated and not enforced by local councils.
She so worried about damage to the buildings if a drone crashes?!? It's 250 grams lady. That's why the law is slack on that size. It can't hurt anything. Be realistic.
Given everything is banned here, this seems the ultimate ‘Not Allowed!’ establishment. She says it’s rude. It’s rude to attempt to stop a free man, a member of the public conducting his lawful and legal activity and make such outrageous demands. Very rude.
12:01 . . . this is getting Sociopathic .. . once you've told them, staying on the site to argue with these people for the sole purpose of getting conflict with people is harassing behavior
Everyday is a learning day . Great episode as normal Dan and presented your self well and was very polite 👊looking forward to the next one . Keep up the good work .
Put in that subject access request. Also point out that he gave a fictitious email address for the data controller. Unless of course 'get out of here' is the real address but we all know it isn't.
Why do these jobsworths always come up with this invented narrative of drones crashing all over the place just to exaggerate the risk from them? Then they will quite happily walk along a pavement with vehicles weighing tonnes passing them at speed only a few feet away.
These people are mindless. Just as they say ‘what happens if it falls down and hits someone?’ an airplane flies overhead (you can hear it) What happens if that falls down and hits somebody? What’s the difference? I swear these mindless ‘follow the magical rules’ types are the ones who all rolled up their sleeves to trust the ‘mythical higher ups’ who write all their rules and tell them what do! Rant off Good work testing them DJ ,hopefully they’ll learn not to be such sheeple
So Karen don’t drive your security vehicle round Kew Gardens. You may have an accident and crash into that glass that surrounds that 200-year-old greenhouse.
KEW Gardens reminds me of the time a friend of mine kept Piranha in a 500 liter tank in their living room, The piranha had a sense of total control of their own environment however, if I had chosen to, I could have destroyed their own perception of control by simply added a @DJE MEDIA video. I noticed the 'E.R. Constabulary' insignia on their scales, at that point I cast a line of disappointment to which the Cannibalistic aquatic life fled as part of self preservation.
I remember when people were begging for drones or planes to fly over their property, they'd pay hundreds just for an aerial photo of their home/buisness!
You need to hand out badges with all the common phrases they say when they say them "Who are you and who do you work for!" "This is Private Property" "Do you have a Business card?" " NOT ALLOWED" "You will have to get permission" 👨⚕🙇♂🤦👨🔧👩🍳👩🌾
Haha Them "Do you have a Business card?" Me "Yes here's my business card" Them "it says do you have a Business card?" Me "Yes my business card is asking for your business card"
About that funny fuzzy building. It was made for the universal exposition in Milan 2015. I saw it there. It represents a bee hive. Really impressive to go inside 😊
@@springfieldaerial6690 haha no way! Other places have started doing it though haven’t they. Like the security calling them selves custody officers etc
