God, that disability Karen really pissed me off. My mother has Scleroderma which has affected her lungs and their capacity to the point that she cannot walk long distances as well as having a knee replacement done and redone a handful of times. She's got her disability parking pass and everything, so legally she can park in these spots. She can still walk, but she has every right to park in disability spot. You don't have to be in a wheelchair to be disabled and absolutely there are disabilities that you cannot see.

Ugh! These Karen’s who confront others parked in handicapped spots should mind their own business, especially if they don’t have an immediate need for the spot. Karen in this clip was ignorant and offensive. I think she was just bitter and resentful because she had to park so far away. Even if they are legally parked, Karen has no authority to demand proof. If not legally parked, they will face the consequences.
That was one instance in which the "respect your elders" was warranted. That lady showed that girl FAR more respect than she needed to for much longer, too. If you're shown respect, you give it in return. That lady reminds me of my mother who also has a handicap placard and can walk very short distances, so _goddamn_ that girl made my blood simmer. I would NOT have stayed silent in the car like the daughter; I would have been in her face so my mother wouldn't NEED to defend herself!

I have FSHD2 Muscular Dystrophy, only diagnosed in 2017 at the age of 47, but it's a non curable hereditary disease I have had since birth that took 47 years to properly diagnose!! (my sister is 10 yrs older than me, took 57 yrs to diagnose hers)!! . Anyway the disabled lady in this clip was correct, all disabilities are not seen as well as when she stated just bc someone can walk does not mean they are not disabled. I lost the ability to walk standing up straight in 2015-16, I've been confined to a power wheelchair since i was FINALLY diagnosed in 2017. Now it's blatantly obvious I AM disabled when parking(mobility vehicle, Power wheelchair etc..).Sadly it was NOT always so. I've had a few times in the past just as the disabled lady in this clip.
