The fact that Johnny would use the Mexican phone book was killing me softly 😂😂😂😂😂😂 “Omg, you drove me over 1,000 miles to look at a phone book, you might as well put Miguel’s face on a milk carton!” They still do that 😂😂😂😂😂😂
A lot of people have made jokes about Miguel walking around Mexico looking for "Hector", and how finding him this quickly is unrealistic. However, Miguel had an exact address for a café which he knew was owned by his father (probably as part of his research about his father, which he told Johnny of in Season 4) and knew that his full name was Hector Salazar. At first, Miguel though the apparent mob boss playing card inside the café was his father. But when outside, he saw a café employee calling someone else Hector and referring to that person as his boss. Miguel obviously put two and two together and determined that the café employee's boss named Hector was likely the café's owner named Hector (aka his father).
Chozen’s plan would have worked a lot better if he pretended that he came there to get vengeance on Daniel LaRusso for the events of Karate Kid 2. There would at least be some truth in his story and a background check would prove it to be true
Yeah, that would have been better plan wise but they’re not really strategic like Terry who honed his strategic mind with military and being a business man. Hector hates Carmen and her mom; you think he would care about Miguel? He would say something like “I can make more kids if I want” before killing Miguel. He cares about power and money; not attachments
I never thought about that but you're right, it could have been a better cover story. But then again, didn't Daniel fly Chozen out to LA? I assume Terry has the resources to find out who paid for his ticket, so it would fall apart pretty quickly.
It would've , but as far as I remember Daniel never mentioned Chozen to Silver in TKK3 , So out of the blue one Okinawan guy arrives at Silver claims to be Daniels Childhood rival , considering Silver he would be Hella suspicious of Chozen .
“Why don’t people hit the brakes, why do they turn?” Because turning instead of hitting the breaks is literally one of the first things you are ever taught in driving school. 😂
9:40. Actually, Miguel got the village name where his father lives from his mom and it is a small village in Mexico with a small population. To find someone named Hector Salazar in a small town would not be too difficult.
Im not going to lie tho if I saw see my father for the first time and he was a crazy man with a gun talking about my Mom’s a bitch and she clipped his wings. im not telling that dude im his son 😭😭 Sucks for audience cuz we did not really get a payoff with that.
When your crazy ass meets someone hardcore enough to match your crazy, Silver has just now realised that not all of Miyagi Do is made to be passive, and now he's concerned. Miguel's Mexico Misadventure is a mixed bag, didn't really flesh it out, though it was an ill thought out one from Miguel - he's a teenager so it makes sense. But as mentioned before, Johnny has two hands, and his rescue mission is also a bonding session with Robby.
They actually filmed it in Puerto Rico in real life. Also the guy who plays Miguel's father is a famous telenovela actor in Televisa and Univision for USA viewers.
9:23 Exactly! Many give Sam crap for this but Miguel should have asked since that's his girlfriend and he knew how much the tournament meant to her. She wasn't making it about her since she asked him where he was first and wanted to make sure he's okay
Stingray was under extreme duress. Silver saw in Stingray the perfect patsy, so he put him on death's doorstep, then told him he would let him live if he fell in line. Silver surely let Stingray know in no uncertain terms he belonged to him.
You guys need to understand, the emotional rollercoaster you guys just put me through 😂 I got excited when I saw a notification theres new normies CK content, then I PANICKED because I couldn’t find it on the playlist, only to realize it was just in the wrong spot.
You can fly with knives on a plane as long as it is in the suitcase that goes under the plane. I took a survival knife to Hawaii with me when I flew there.
“How’d you bring those on the plane with you?” Pat, my guy, you can bring weapons on a plane (guns, knives, etc.) They just have to be checked bags and not carry-ons (not chemicals or explosives, obviously. And no ammo.)
Terry Silver is totally badass. Very cunning and very skilled martial artist, even more so than Daniel. Let's be real. Would have been interesting to see him still with black hair but just a minor detail really.
Sam spent one sentence in that phone call with Miguel talking about herself. She spent most of it worried for Miguel. Remember Sam raised money for Miguel’s surgery after the school accident. She is a victim of repeated assault and PTSD. She’s not even safe in her own home. I feel like people who find Sam annoying are looking for it and going to find something to nitpick no matter how the writers wrote her character. To me she is incredibly sympathetic
Daniel is ONCE AGAIN the BAD GUY trying to DESTROY theBUSINESS of terry when he was leaving him along like you guys even said in the final season. Daniel is always the villain. hothead and hasnt changed since movie 1 lmao
Im not joining Cobra Kai if i know their history, Im pretty forgiving but i dont like being part of slow moving train wrecks, Cobra Kai has always been problematic its not new.
Not sure about the US as I'm in Canada but for the "How'd you bring those on the plane" regarding sais. If you're a practitioner of martial arts and transporting them for the art of training/teaching and they're declared as such, (mileage may vary over the years) then it wasn't a huge issue in the past if bagged away and not brought as carry on. Only illegal weapons such as nunchucks will be confiscated or destroyed. After my sensei visited Okinawa and was gifted an old traditional pair, the airport/border cut the string in half which stupidly enough is then fine to have two sticks, as long as they are not connected with a string or chain, so go figure.
21:21 Honestly, the new Mortal Kombat movie was really good. I just didn't see the point in the Cole character and it was weird it took place way before the actual Tournament. Otherwise, it was great and the guy playing Kano was the best part, but overall, I liked most of the actors in the characters they played.
Sam’s actress Mary is basically treated like Ahmed Best of Star Wars, but i am really wondering what Miguel’s purpose is in this show since he does not think that Cobra Kai is a problem since he did not bother to watch and support his girlfriend’s match. Like , even if he finds his dad eventually he still has to ho back home an deal with that later and unlike Daniel,Sam and Johnny he does not seem to have a personal reason in trying to take Cobra Kai down
Well the actresss shouldn't be hated, but the character is terrible. Just comes off whiny.. Like obviously Miguel is going through something and he left the tournament for a reason. It wasn't the time to talk about that. Also why hang up on someone that is basically "missing" and a run away... Regarding Miguel, its just his kind nature. He can't help himself from wanting to stop the philosophy of Cobra Kai to other kids. He has seen what it did to him and hawk, so he is gonna want to stop that from happening to other kids.
I love from India and I requested please give reaction the film kalki2898ad this film total collection in world wide is 1100 cr please check ✔️😢😢😢😢😢😢❤❤❤❤❤
If anyone hasn't watched the latest mortal kombat don't listen to suraj it is actually pretty good but the 1996 film is better Also I've never found sam annoying
