Mine is a beast! My gun likes 2150 on the reg with AEA 50gr. You are correct this gun is a game changer. Just can't believe how well it shoots. PJ I'm sure put a fast tune on your gun. Getting it close I should say. Some fine tuning may get a better result but out of the box it's pretty nice. My STD Dev is 6. I'm sure that will get better with time as the regs settled in. I would share the rest of my settings but, my tune for Florida isn't going to be the same tune for people up north or out west for that matter. Enjoy, this one is a game changer for sure.
This rifle has been fully tuned, with an SD 0.67 and an ES of 2. i dont think it will get much better, lol. I know better than to chase. If a rifle is performing, leave it alone dont touch it.
I spoke with Izzy this morning about the .22 and the .25, I guess they have very limited testing with the .22 and zero testing with the .25. I was holding out for the .25 but Now I'm thinking about just ordering the .30 cal. Thanks for your thoughts and I hope to see more videos from you.
I mean that’s pretty much how you tune any gun made with an adjustable reg and hammer spring. To me this gun would be like the massively fat guy goalie in hockey. Take the biggest fat F that you can find and crane him in front of the goal. Could effectively block the whole net without moving. Same thing with this gun. It weighs 1000 lbs so it greatly lessens the chance the shooter will induce error into the shot. Honestly quite elementary.
No, that's not pretty much how you tune every gun. Fx for Instance is a balancing act, and no two guns are alike. It's back and forth between hammer and reg . The panda each caliber will work with its specific red pressure. And 95% of the tuning can be done with just hammer spring. Yes, the rifle was built heavy. it's a benchrest rifle purpose built benchrest rifle. If it's not your cup of tea, all the more power to ya. There's a gun for everyone, and what i like you may not and vise versa. Thanks for your reply and feedback
Just saying number one the weight is why it is so good for bench. It isn’t revolutionary is all I’m saying. You are also wrong about tuning. This gun like an fx is a balancing act between reg and hammer it’s identical. You pick a reg pressure and optimize the hammer preload to it. If you up the reg on this gun you will ultimately have to up the hammer to match and vice versa exactly like an fx or whatever. Anyway have a good one.
