What really boggles my mind is how people say the new gen will always surpass the old gen. Madara was old as hell & whooped an entire nation solo. If they decided to polish everyone after the time skip, I’m 100% sure Sasuke & Naruto would be whooping ass again lol yes the new gen surpasses old gen but there’s no reason to make them as powerless as they are now. It's cuz the otsusuki in the boruto Era is stated to be greater than kaguya. Though for the fact that they were able to kill an otsusuki that is greater than kaguya definitely proves they grew stronger as adults.

I get Ishikki is strong but Like I said, if they were polished & the writers didn’t half ass the writing, I’m sure the fight would’ve turned out much more better than it did.

Remember people Naruto isn't at his strongest even in canon. He wasn't taught correctly or his teachers did half assed jobs, and it wasn't until Final Movie that he expanded his taijutsu. And he never got to learn the sealing arts and chakra chains, two major skills that would've made him even stronger.

1:22 I think it would be really cool if after losing the Nine Tails and the ability to spam shadow clones Naruto starts taking Hyuuga training, combining his chakra control with the rotation defense technique to just casually move bands of chakra to his defense like he sort of does here in the air. Would be a good homage to Neji and keep Naruto relevant post-Kyuubi, even though I know the point of him losing Nine Tails was to make Boruto center of the stage powerwise...
It waant just kurama, uzumaki have large ass chakra pools intrinsicly due to the clan being sealing masters. Or atleast that's what one of the movies said anyway

I have never watched the show, but it is wholesome to see our boy Naruto train his son, and be seemingly at peace after all the sh** he has endured. I will always love him.
Dont be surprised, Lord 7th is easily the strongest shinobi in his time. it's almost impossible to believe he's surpassed every Hokage especially the first 2 being the strongest, surpassed the strongest of the Uchihas and Hyugas, surpassed Kakashi and Jiraya, surpassed all of his class mates and nearly every other shinobi in his world, including Sasuke, whos his only known equal.

I hope that when the series returns, we get to see the current genin from the leaf grown up and have an emphasis on their adventures with snippets of what's going on with Boruto for plot so eventually the two converge. The combat in Boruto Next Generation got better the longer it went on, but the world building with the new characters (that weren't villain of the week) kind of got pushed aside to do so.

I wish we would've seen naruto with some different wind style jutsu's since it's stronger against lightning style. He learned earth style and all others chakra natures, but wind is only applied to the rasengan

If you really pay attention to the narrative here, the first half Boruto was still sorta keeping up showing his own growth while Naruto had no difficulty in dispatching his clones. The point here is in the second part, there's a huge increase in Boruto's power it's like Naruto was fighting momoshiki again, his reflexes and counters were almost too much for base Naruto (with his handicaps) to Handel. If Boruto improved his strategy under the karma he'd have little difficulty assassinating an unprepared Naruto. (If he tries it in the future)
Wth is this genjutsu you are under "fighting momoshiki again" wake up to reality he was slightly surprised by the increase in power naruto was doing pretty casually throwing him around and managed to get behind him speak a full sentence and still kick boruto before he can block while it looks like he is barely trying

One thing that annoyed me about Boruto is they depowered everyone, it was like they stopped training and let their skills rust over the years. Naruto having trouble with Boruto was stupid. His having to actually try as so wrong, and they make the Karma mark out to be so powerful.
To be fair Im currently rewatching naruto im at 103 filler episode. All old guys seem to be drinking and sleeping. Like no one is training, not orochimaru not kakashi, 5th hookage nor the toad master. Toad master specificlly he was just sleeping with women. I wonder if in shipuden I will see a grown up who had talent of lets say saske and was as training as rock lee was until old age. All olders characters just dont train, maybe the reached physical limit and can only train jutsu so its all in technicues. Maybe they stop training when they get older got tired or something got tired. Btw i didnt fully watch shipuden
