Yknow, one of the upsides of karn being made fun of all the time seems to be that everyone will just ignore it and attack you instead, even if they could prevent the karn from ultimating. The massive disrespect everyone has for this planeswalker can really come back to bite them lol
I don't know why, but this sentence made me crack up. It's only missing one thing, but this was the funniest thing in the world to me for the last five minutes
You can hold Q while clicking multiple mana sources to tap them all at once upon letting go of Q! That way permanents won't shift around when clicking and you won't need to select the mana ability if the source has multiple abilities. This also applies to stacks of lands.
@@LegenVD Ah but this is a different shortcut than "QQ", holding Q and clicking allows you to bulk select the specific lands you want to tap for mana. It takes a little getting used to but can reduce the amount of clicks when you need to tap lots of lands individually
I think that, for the sake of Arena, the emblem should say "Tap X untapped artifacts you control. This emblem deals damage to any target equal to number of artifacts tapped this way." It's functionally the same, but it lets you do it in bulk where needed. I'm sure there are a few situations where this actually could make some difference, however as you still have the option to do one at a time if you want, this would only serve to make the ability better and let's be real, it wouldn't hurt to make it a little better.
@@zinthaniel9913 I'm not the commenter you are responding to, but I have the same opinion. It's mostly due to the economy, it takes either an incredible amount of money (100s of dollars) or an extreme amount of time (100s of hours) to acquire the cards to play just one exciting deck like this. If you've already invested in the game it might not seem so bad, but for a player without a current collection it's pretty awful.
@@lukethompson2766 I'm brand new to arena as of a few days ago and it is looking that way. The draft mode is what really drew me in and since you can get in free every once and awhile I will probably keep the game around, don't see myself throwing much money into it.
I'm surprised you didn't put Awakened Amalgym in the creature slot. Colorless decks with all the utility lands is about one of the only places it can shine
No kidding. 4 clicks, moving almost the width of the screen 3 times to deal 1 damage. They should have worded it so you can tap x artifacts instead so for arena gui.
Most infinite combos work better in paper since as LVD mentions from time to time, once a loop is established you can just say “I repeat the loop 999999 times”
"Round of applause for our opponent here for not conceding when 99% of opponents would" LOL! I can read between the lines - "Round of applause for our opponent for not seeing the writing on the wall when literally anybody else would be able to recognize a loss and would have conceded long ago"
Sometimes in historic brawl ill let the opp do their thing so i can see how they pop off if im not familiar with it. Also its nice to let people go off with their ridiculous combos, i always appreciate it when someone lets me, its sweet seeing your deck fire off just like you drew it up
Imagine being at work all day, thinking on playing a game of good ol MTG.. coming home, getting reaaaaly excited, starting the game and the first match you get is Legend... few seconds in you can hear a little "we have options"....
My god even the emblem is a meme, I thought it said "when you tap an artifact the emblem deals 1 damage" but instead you have to click on it every single time xD
Karn emblem need an errata. Vs lifegain commander this will be pain to kill them with those triggers. It wouldn't be better if this said "Tap any numbers of artifacts you control. Then deal X damage divide as you choose to any target equal to the number of artifacts you tap this way"?
@@lakingpaul or maybe "for each artifact tapped this way deal 1 damage to aby target". This way any damage preventing spell will trigger for every point of damage
Hey nice video as always, thanks ! You don't play Aetherflux Reservoir ? I really like it with Paradox Engine as it often kills on the spot (especially with Ugin or Mystic Forge along the way).
When you are going of with engine you can usually find a way to win using otherwise useful cards. Aetherflux is certaintly nice to have as it makes it easier to win but drawing it without having the engine and some value engine along side to actually kill the opponent is really bad. It really is a 4 mana do nothing outside of the combo.
Multiplayer would be so cool but just think of how buggy of an experience it would be lol, it feels like they just only recently fixed that audio glitch that lasted like a year or something
@@Asian_Caleb if you mean audio just cutting out I still get that. Personally I’m super unlucky on the draws and I think having someone that can hold them off for just one or two turns would offset my luck
