I had this friend who died from pulmonary embolism (lungs filled with fire?). In the daytime we had her funeral (a cremation), a couple of hours later I went to see Karnivool live and they ended their set with this one. One of the most powerful music-experiences in my life.....

If I could express with words what this band does with me I would have been an artist myself

Attended Karnivool’s Tricontinental Drift tour here in Delhi. Aeons was part of the setlist and god it sounded the exact same live, they were so so good! In the end Steve threw his drumsticks in the crowd and I got hold of one mid air 😭❤️ Best Night Ever!

Cool story, my band was playing with Steve, the drummers old band "hope here gone" when the boys from Karnivool rocked up, turns out they were recruiting him... bloody good move. He is outstanding

This band is golden but the Bass player is really amazing. It becomes the song and makes sure it has an important part to play which I really appriciate. This band is crazy good!

I lost count of how many times I've watched this video. These guys just blow my mind with how well they can craft such a dark, melodious song with strikingly powerful lyrics.

One of the greatest songs of all time in my opinion

This is my favorite track off the album. Such a masterpiece.

I didn't like Asymmetry at release. I listened to it once or twice but didn't get it, so I left it, lamenting the fact that the band that had produced Sound Awake had gone bad. A few years later I decided to give it another chance. And damn. It hit me like a f****g train. I now believe it's one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever created. Nothing changed except my perception. I wasn't ready for Asymmetry, but now I'm just glad I get to live in an era where works of art like this is created. Thanks Karnivool.

I just found this and the alpha video and have been utterly obsessed with watching them. Quality is lightyears ahead of the moshcam vids of these guys live, and obviously Karnivool is incredible regardless
