U obviously didn't follow the whole story between Shakira n pique. He was supposed to keep it secret his relationship with his new gf for a year. Shakira did this so it could protect their kids for being hurtful seeing their father is now with a new love. But pique didn't keep the promise, he publicly dating Clara chia disregard how his kids would feel if they saw them together. So that's how Shakira made her revenge song throw it to his face.
