A very comfortable day sack large enough to use for a multiple day trip when using compact gear.
This sack is a good bargain if you ask me. With my Molle modification it is the perfect bag for me.

I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! The video of you showing off a backpack on a glacier from the old intros! I always wondered why you decided to review a backpack on a glacier XD

The Karrimor SF Sabre 35 is more designed for day to day civilian style of work or for normal use in the woods. The Karrimor SF Sabre/Predator 45lts is more orientated towards military use. The Sabre 45lts does not have molle compatible system and the predator yes. You will have no problems with the shoulder straps or balance. I have one used and abused and the day it has to be replaced I will buy one again the same one. I am 187cm height and large chest and for me goes well. Thanks for sharing mate. ;)

Always been a fan of Karrimor packs, their packs and dry bags are some of my favorite kit they make, i like your molle mod, good idea. Also great location, looked a bit chilly in the first part of the video, but wow that lake and hill in the second part. gorgeous backdrop.

+pai pai Thanks! the Karrimor really held its own on my trips and i'm really happy with it. I'm standing before a glacier in the first part. I was still hot from the climb but as the video continued it got really chilly lol.

A bit late to mention, but the sternum strap is supposed to go around the main shoulder strap at each end and under the molle-ish webbing (which is just there to stop it slipping up or down).

Big down fall for me was the sidepockets don't have a channel behind the to be able to carry skis.

Marteen: "My chest is average" Me: remembers when he made blueberry bread a few videos ago and how when he closed the oven, muscled hammer guy was standing in the reflection and wondered if he put the bread loaf in the oven or on his f***ing chest! XD

Be sure to carry at least 500mL of Akvavit in one of the side pockets, for medicinal purposes of course........

If you don't mind me asking, how tall/heavy are you? What kind of weight do you carry (find comfortable to carry) with this particular rucksack? thanks

Hey Budo, I'm kinda small 1.76m and 83kg weight. I haven't weighed the rucksack with gear before. If I'd had to guess I wouldn't pack much more than 15-20kg personally in this smaller rucksack. I only use it for dayhikes. We did a lot of mountain hikes +- 20km-30km so this is what my experience is based on. If you're going to set up camp somewhere 20kg shouldn't make a huge problem. I think my average was around 13-15kg for uphill hiking. The hip bands on this rucksack aren't particularly big so you will start feeling it on your shoulders if you pack too much.

No smaller, inner "stationery" compartments?

heyy man is this bag good enough agains rain ? because you have a extra rain bag around, i wil put my photo camera in it so it may not be wet inside
@DutchBushcraftKnives

+caberg043 it has a kinda anti moisture layer inside. I walked with it in the rain without problems but I don't want to take this risk in hard rain. So I do carry a rain bag. Cheers!

Where is this?..the Dutch alps lol?...no, seriously...it Looks great. In a moment of eBay bidding madness I recently bought/won a nearly mint 1956 Swiss army backpack direct from Switzerland. Thick Leather and canvass. Makes me want to head straight to the Matterhorn.

This was on my vacation in Norway haha. We have one slope here in the Netherlands a whopping 322 meters above sea level. I only go there with extra oxygen bottles and thermal underwear. Congrats on your beautiful purchase. Those look very classy. a lot more elegant than an alice pack in my opinion.
