Please please test out the Real Steel Pathfinder folder, it uses a crossbar lock, has an almost 4” scandi ground 14c blade and micarta handles. It’s become my back up knife to my fixed blade for outdoors.
There was never anything wrong with 420 stainless, it's just not the latest and greatest. It has however, withstood the test of time and gives you an all around user friendly steel that: resists rust, holds an edge, doesn't roll and can be field sharpened. Stuff like D2 will be a distant memory and knives will still be made of 420 stainless.
@@SonofHendrik ja zeker! maar toen we bij hun op bezoek waren noemden ze het zelf ook de hele tijd “Fallkniven” dus volgens mij boeit het hun niet heel erg. Dankjewel goos!
I'd rather buy a Schnitzel Tri or Schnitzel Kvin or Wanger WOC 2 or just anything else 😅 Oh would you please make a review of the Wanger WOC 2?!?! 😮 KR❤
I thought with the Fred Perry shirt and the leather jacket Mikkie looks like a british 90's garage rock band member........ Damn didn't know he really has a garage rock band. nice Song!
Gerber makes knives and tools that are constructed and priced for the masses. The new strongarm doesn’t excite me but I’m glad it’s out there for those who need a decent knife they can afford. I own a Gerber Principle. It does what I need it to, sharpens easily and priced well.
I like my original Gerber strongarm in bdz-1 steel an my jaakari puuko knives from Finland,I've been looking into the Gerber principal,I love my pls camp an trail knife corpral Kelly edition.
I almost didn’t watch this vid purely for that fake being on your thumbnail!! It’s such a shame Gerber is now so associated with that clown and since when did he copyright the combination of the colours orange and grey??
As a resident of Japan where I can buy wagyu at the grocery store (whatever grade) save your money. It’s all hype. It’s good once, but it’s literally 90% fat. It’s delicious, but if you want a steak, don’t go wagyu. Wagyu is all about mouth feel, but eating a whole steak is almost punishment.
@@DutchBushcraftKnives same, I get a very small wagyu if I want it. A full size regular grilled ribeye, I will destroy, that wagyu makes me need a bed within 15 feet after I eat it haha.
When you prep food with salt and pepper - hold them higher so it doesn't sprinkle concentrated blobs of salt and pepper on the steak - it fans out as it falls evenly covering!
