Wow, I can’t thank you enough for this video! I tried to set this up myself with the limited instructions and kept missing a step. Your video was awesome. Thank you
OMG! Thank you for this video! The kasa instructions aren't clear and, like a few other comments I've seen, the connection step was missing/confusing, but you clarified it!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! 😃
Love the video. It helped me when I went from my old hub required bulbs to the TP-Link Kasa. I skipped a step and watching our video helped me figure it out fast. Thank you so much. Next is the Kasa light strips. :)
hey guys, ive just brought this bulb, got it setup and so far its been really good, very impressed with it, you can also see how much power it has used aswel
Nice review!!! I had mine already set up when I watched it, but watched your review in case I missed something cool in the set up process. I thought I had one of those that you can actually change the hue of the bulb, but no, this is the simpler version. One thing I would point out is that mine did not respond when I switched over to my phone's internet provider network, (i.e. T-mobile, Vodafone, etc.). I will give it a go with Alexa, because she responds even when controlled from other internet networks..!! Cheers dude... :-)
Hello sir , I am having difficulty with it prompting a local area network turn on and I did and still not able to connect it , when there is Wi-Fi , do we need lan network, I have no idea what is that !
I have tried the tp link amber & the lifx bulbs In the end as I went for Lifx because you can also change the colour temperature. Does Tp-link have non-rgb ones where I could change colour temperature. That plus being Dimmable is awesome. I loved both brands and maybe even the jasa app a bit better. If they had white or day might bulb with colour temperature & Donahue I would probably use them exclusively.
It's a WiFi bulb. So no. The Hue Bridge is ZigBee only and it doesn't even work with all ZigBee bulbs due to corporate greed(they want you to buy Philips Hue light bulbs and only Philips Hue light bulbs).
I just got my echo dot and wanted to pair it to this smart light bulb I just got. I followed all of the steps, but for some reason when I get to the step where it wants me to connect my light bulb to my wifi, it doesn’t pull up my normal home wifi. Any idea why that could be?? 😭
had the same issue. Hold phone real close to the router. Turn off any other devices that might cause radio interference. Hopefully you'll get lucky after 3-4 tries
