How unfair it is to pay a hefty amount to the hotel, 26 to 30k per night for khyber but you bargain with the ghode wale and the local people.

We stayed at Hotel Heevan retreat itself it has amazing valley view. Everything is very costly at Kashmir, for horse they told us 13k for 5 points for 2 people and we negotiated till 7k, shawl they told us 1.2k for each at Baisran but finally deal closed at 1k for 4 pieces 😂, dal lake jwellery they offered 750 price we took in 300rs. Just a suggestion do bargaining other wise you'll loose your hard-earned money.. We visited on 16th to 22nd Dec 2021

Hello. We suggest a lot of woolen clothes as it will be extremely cold at that time. For shoes you can rent the boots from there as the ones we have won't work in snow. ( renting on boots is available everywhere in Kashmir) at a minimum amount only

Hhaha, I love so many questions. What was the over all expenses? Answer - Approx 80,000 to 85,000 a couple. However we took a bit of a luxury stays. In which month had you travelled? Answer - Mid January. Travelling anytime in February should be perfect if you love snow but want to skip snowfall. How did the booked the hotels and dinner? Through agent or by yourself? Answer - We booked it through an agent.

I would definitely recommend booking it through someone as it’s lot more easier to miss over the hassle. However make sure you have all the bookings we’ll confirmed and guaranteed. As kashmir is way over booked from December to March .

Hello, Minus is just a number ! The world world almost sees that temperature’s. It is not impossible to live in it. Yes, you need to be properly warm with the right pair of thermals and well layered. It’s the most beautiful feeling to be in this kind of a weather.

We travelled from Mumbai to Srinagar via flight. They did not ask us for the covid repost as they do a rapid test and no charge at the srinagar airport themself.

Hello, We visited during 3rd week of January. All the places are 2-3 hours from Srinagar. But I would highly recommend staying 1 night each at Gulmarg and Pahalgam as travelling can get difficult in case or heavy snow fall

we took an early morning flight. it takes 2 /3 hours to reach depending on your flights and layovers. it takes approx 45 mints to come out of the airport. Srinagar to PahalGAM IS APPRX 4 HOURS DRIVE.

Hello...Isha...it's an awesome video...i watched it 3 times ,..even we r also planning to go in the 2 week of Jan 2022, is there heavy snow at that time? Any suggestions or tips pls?

HI. snow is completely unpredictable there. So I can't really say. But tips just have enough warm close. As it can be quite cold

Amazing video, we just came Back from Kashmir 2 weeks back, and it was heavy snow fall in Gulmarg!! It was bit scary! But Kashmir is full of fun, and adventure! 👏🏻🤟🏻 thanks for the amazing vlog Esha!
