I'm a Pakistani Muslim. My Great Paternal Grandfather was a Brahmin Hindu Pandit. He Converted to Islam by Being Inspired From it and not Forced. If Some Illiterates Made You Think Bad About Islam, Let Me Tell You That Islam is Perfect and Muslims are Not. Islam is Strictly Against Forced Conversions.
Why no one in India care about Kashmiri Pandits, It's high time we Hindus should understand our power and get united, We let our brothers suffer in Kashmir and still talk about tolerance. We will face the same fate if we do not get united.
No mention of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji? A man who gave his life to save Kashmiri Pandits? As usual Sikh history is glossed over and not given proper credit.
A part of Saraswat brahmins started migrating through the west coast of the land now called India between 1200-1400 AD they settled in Gomantak (Goa) and started practicing trade other than just being priests. The intrusion and forced conversion to Christianity by Portuguese traders around 16-1700s AD forced us to migrated again through the west coast to settle in Karnataka (mainly Mangaluru) and Kerala (mainly Kochi) and it has been another ~300 years since. I am one of the decedents living in Kochi.
I dont mean to sound immature but there should have been a description given of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji for his contribution for saving the religion of Kahmiri Pandits from the Mughals, though I personally do appreciate the point where u mentioned abt the phase where sikh ruled the land of Kashmir... Thanks and a nice effort!!... Keep it up
