Hey folks!
-
Thanks for tuning in to this weeks tackle Tuesday video! If it wasn’t clear before, this is NOT sponsored by Kastking. These tackle boxes have really impressed me so much that I just HAD to make a video to show you all their insane quality you can obtain at a budget price.

Absolutely LOVE Kastking products!! I have had (3) 3700 and (1) 3600 boxes for about 4 months now and can't wait to get a few more so I can do away with some of my cheap ones. I have (2) Brutus spinning reels, A Brutus Baitcasting reel, A Royale Legend II Baitcasting reel and I absolutely love them and you can't beat the price!! I even had (2) Brutus spincast reels and they also work great. I unfortunately didn't maintain them properly so the drag froze up so, I just actually purchased another spincast reel because they are so inexpensive, they are GREAT for the novice fisherman who doesn't have a ton of money to spend, every time they need to replace gear. I have other products as well, like the line spooler, Cutthroat scissors and pliers set, tackle bag, etc., etc. Also have a variety of Kastking Tripolymer line spools from 10lb to 17lb and really do not have one bad thing to say about ANY of their products. I would love to try some of their higher end stuff but, for now, I am extremely happy with their more budget friendly items for sure!! Allows me more time on the bank with my grandson!! Great video!!

I bought a Kastking Speed Demon because is was one of the fastest spinning reels you could buy at the time. It didn't last more than a month before it started to get sloppy. I have seen some Kastking products since that look pretty good, but after my experience I'm having a hard time going back..

The Kastking products are quickly becoming my favorite! You covered the tackle boxes but I have to tell you about the reels. I stumbled on their stuff when I was looking for a tackle backpack. I was so impressed with the quality and price of it that I started buying other products just to see if it spanned the product line. To me, it does without a doubt. First reel I bought was the Sharky III. I think I got it for under $60 on Amazon (maybe under $50). Got the 3000 size. First thing I noticed out of the box was... the box. Packaging was better than almost anything I have seen. And the reel itself... it's SOLID!!!! Like no crappy plastic pieces! If doesn't flex in your hand. It's smooth. The drag is excellent. It feels like a $150 reel to me. I have been using it for about 9 months now and it's a good as the day I took it out of the box. Had it on salmon and steelhead trips all winter and now I'm using it for walleye and big hybrid stripers in the Ohio River in heavy current. I'm going to try a couple other models they have, but at the price point, I don't think you can beat it.

Plano ProLatch 3750 is still only $5.54 each on Walmart. It's risen only 30 cents since 2 years ago.

great deal! However, I don't think they are quite the same "type" of box as these ones. These are far more comparable to the Plano Edge series which are 40$ and up for most of them, especially this size.

Do they make an ultralight setup? I like catching fish to eat, catching big bass is fun and all but I fish to eat. Crappie, bluegill, white bass, are my favorite fish to eat. I’ll eat a largemouth occasionally, the lake I fish at allows you to take home large mouth bass under 13 inches.

They do have some BFS stuff on their website, though I cant vouch for it quite yet being that I have not used it! My ultralight setup is a Daiwa crossfire 5'6" with a Shimano Nexave 1000. LOVE IT

I have spent over $200 on the Plano & Flambeau boxes mostly because they deteriorated after a season or two due to UV. The last ones I bought I sprayed with a UV protection clear coat and it helps but it gums up the hinges. Are these UV tolerant?
