I was at this Montreal show. March 2011, with All Shall Perish supporting. Kataklysm ruled. "Death Metal," "Melodic Death Metal," "Groove Metal," "Deathcore," whatever pedantic gatekeepers want to call them, it was heavy and epic. It was a METAL show.

saw these guys last year it was so fuckin awesome there was only mayb 20 ppl in the whole place and the stage was level with the floor it was very intimate. got to chill with them after and rock some beers, somthn ill never forget because kataklysm in my opinion is the greatest band ever. Vive la Canada!

I've seen Kataklysm live maybe 6 or 7 times now and seeing them live in their hometown of Montreal is something to behold.Usually the crowd is intense but that one was something else.

@dirtbikehero450 Well lucky you than, I'm not necessarily saying I'd prefer wholly different vocals, but BETTER ones. I find this grunt to be very mediocre. I think the Lamb of God guy would've fitted pretty well. But I guess my preferences go towards more screamy vocals than this 'Hulk smash' type of stuff.
