I totally understand what you mean about the colours! I picked up a Brick Red and the Canary yellow from my local art shop. I can get a huge range just from those two colours. The brick red is especially interesting- it applies as quite a dark, neutral red, but as soon as I water it down it turns into the most amazingly fluorescent flamingo pink. I'm not sure if this is to do with the pigment load of perhaps the solubility or abundance if certain pigments in the ink. Either way, very inspiring! Thanks for the upload, you've gained yourself a new subscriber :D
It's really cute! I think Vila is Danish, but yeah they have cute clothes. It's similar to other Danish stores such as Vera Moda, Only and Pieces. I think I'm going to go crazy in Zara and Primark when I go to Edinburgh though :D I really like your makeup too ^^
I wanna start using ink and I wanted to make sure Windsor and newton was a good brand so thank you I have my mind set on Windsor and Newton now!! Great video
Idk if you didn’t say it or if I didn’t catch it but I was wondering if the inks were waterproof. It’s kind of a huge selling point for me since I use both water color and ink in my artwork. Which I use the ink to do line art most of the time for my pieces. The problem is I have a hard time finding waterproof colored ink so I was just wondering if the were.
Hello! Their website says that apart from the metallics (gold and silver) and the liquid indian black ink they are water resistant when dry (and water soluble before dry)!
Aaaww thank you .) I definitely want to do more art supply reviews in the future - I bought the Winsor & Newton brushmarkers and I'm super curious how they stack up against my beloved copics! .)
I gave it a go but didn't seem like there was much noticeable difference. However while I was at it I at least remembered a technique we used in first grade (so professional! .D) when you dump a bunch of ink on a card and then blow on it, creating weird spider-esque patterns. I'm not sure if I can use that for anything serious but I really want to .D Nostalgia!
Kakibot Yeah, Copics are really cheap over here. Converted maybe 2.10€. At the Nagasawa (I don't know if that store name is familiar for you) near my house you can get ca 18 different ink colours. :)
Haha, that's interesting because I get so many people on RU-vid guessing Dutch when I am in fact Czech! (dating an Englishman but working with Americans, so it's just a mess really)
@@jenniferjoy8532 Nooo not at all! Plus I find it to be kind of a compliment when people guess Dutch cause that's definitely one of my favourite accents among my fellow Europeans! .3
