@@vetlerradio That's the good thing about acoustic gigs. I mean, I have seen a lot of videos of him in live performances that were just plain bad. Can't blame him tho, metal tours must take their tolls.
This was my first exposure to Katatonia. I bought this concert on Blu-ray on a whim because I'm always a fan of acoustic-based shows. I was hooked. I've bought every Katatonia album since I first discovered this album and it's amazing to hear the reimagined versions of these Katatonia songs.
I hold my breath and check the time One minute no collapse If you only knew what I would do for you One thirty breathing lapse We're going in my voice is thin When I tell you to remember That no one will find you My promise from the heart If we part my pulse will guide you through Be still for a moment Everything depends upon you If you die I will die too Once we were heroes But everything has changed since then Now they recognize you too I stay too long something's wrong You walk out of the picture I hold my breath and check the time One thirty i collapse We went in my voice was thin When I told you to remember I'm the evidence You passed the test and that's so good for you O love will you read the letters I will send to you Will I come along Will they let me out to take the test O love is the score enough for me to pass the test
That beginning where Jonas and......I don't remember the other guy's name play the opening drums is cool because Jonas and Anders started this band as a duo. Anders played bass and guitars and Jonas did vocals and drums. Never got a chance to see him play drums before so seeing that was pretty cool. So yeah.
yeah yeah yeah, this is a turkish instrument called "darbuka" . And it's a nice example of very very bad playing of darbuka. But...whatever, Katatonia is awesome as always.
the guys try to adapt darbuka to their style , its not easy to do it , im tunisian and we use all the time darbuka , but it sounds differently cause we have different music ... so good job for jhonnas and the other guy
