I live in South Africa, and no one here gets this music, seems to just go over their heads, living here sucks knowing I'll never get that chance to see bands like these live, I envy you guys who are able to appreciate this talent live
I live in Syria and it's sad knowing that I'll never be able to enjoy this kind of music being played live, but on the point of people not getting this kind of music thankfully we have communities with surprisingly large amount of people who share the same music taste and embrace rock and metal and they're kind of doing their part in making this music more known and accepted by doing little concerts and gatherings, it's pretty cool actually
+Ana Laura Leyva Luna es probablemente una de las bandas que te envuelven en una atmósfera indescriptible y se ve la gran influencia de Opeth. Suecia nos brinda música incomparable
Man ! What a band ... Got to be 1 of the very best underated band ... The vocals of this man and the feel of the songs are just out of this world. Only opeth seems to be on the same level
At city centre 9 pm Just like you wrote And I try to think it back Snow coming in Just like before I will be on stand-by It's time to choose side now That's what you said When we talked on the phone So white our eyes You are still Are you paralyzed Releasing the vapour Into the lung Letting the wings unfurl And for a moment I feel young I call on the bird Unfurl It's time to choose side now That's what you said When we talked on the phone So white our eyes You are still Are you paralyzed
2 роки чекала з білетом на їх концерт, в Зеленому театрі на Арсенальній, в Києві. Спочатку карантин, а потім війна, яка вже іде рік. Я вас все одно чекаю!
There is so much peace with this song...it disturbs me that I find this song peaceful. That being at peace with the end can be such a relieving thing. Make peace with the bird and unfurl.
I remember this was my goto smoking song. I always romanticised that first cigarette of the day and imagine this song playing. "Releasing the vapour Into the lung", thinking about it still gives me chills
been listening to Katatonia since day one and the day one stuff hit me. Also every record since have followed my steps and the music has evolved as I have grown as a human being, so we have had a journey together. I rocked my daughter to sleep when she was a baby by the help of night is the new day album. I have dealt with my problems by the music of this band. I think It has shaped my identity as a person. I love this song. Be kind to each other
what other things to hell you should do there...? sitting all the time in the sauna is boring too... drinking, hunting or running behind the blond girls gets boring with the time too... so they have to make music... and thats for sure... that they doing very very well... ^^
@@oliverjordan6097 the Americans and British may have found the way to make Rock fast and heavy first but without doubt the Swedish, Norway etc etc side of the world found the way to put soul into metal
What other groups have you fallen in love with that reminds you of Katatonia? I would say the closest is Anathema, Antimatter, Green Carnation, and In the Woods.
In The Woods are awesome. Weeping Willow is a song I will never forget. Wow, thank you for reminding me about this great band. With all the Kata I listen to I completely forgot about them until you mentioned it. :) Anathema's last great album was natural disaster, they like Opeth have evolved into something I do not cherish any longer. Antimatter were great! Saviour is a masterpiece!
Fucking "you vape bro" memes have ruined that breathtaking chorus for me. It's a shame really, there are only few songs that can match the beauty of this one.
