Katatonia has a pretty extensive catalogue of solid music. The Great Cold Distance album is their best IMO.

fun fact * yes Katatonia are from sweden and Jonas Renkse ( lead singer ) is best friends with Mikael Akerfeldt - and that in the album Brave Murder Day - 1996 After the recording sessions of October Tide's Rain Without End album, Jonas lost the ability to produce screaming vocals. His throat received damage from the screams and so he asked Mikael Akerfeldt, vocalist/guitarist of fellow swedes Opeth to perform them - So yes Mikael growls on katatonias 1996 album Brave Murder Day -
