This is the oldest Vildhjarta album. Much different from where they went. Hope you checkout more from them. One of my favorite bands. All These Feelings (forte) would be a great next song.
The most intellectual band in the contemporary scene. A infectious debut single addiction to my nostalgia! one of the greatest shortest debut EP's "Omnislash" (2009). So much for the E.P, which it will be essential to listen to for the first time with a certain curiosity and open-mindedness. Indeed, it deviates enormously from the standards of more conventional metal, and seeks to move forward, in its own way. And without a certain sound quality, many essential details will escape, and will miss the majority of ambiances. The songs are always effectively manufactured and structured musically and lyrically. Vild has a slower, chonkier, atmospheric sound. The common word I see associated with Vild is “thall" which is due to the way their guitars are tuned, and they let the lowest sound ring out a bit giving it a unique type of sound. For the promotional campaign for the E.P, Vild had fun highlighting the word, "thall". This word has no meaning, and yet was taken up by a large number of fans, on it almost anywhere as long as it was a question of djent, to the point that some use this word to express how "djent" is as a sub-genre LOL. Vild is also known by "SphereSigns". Vild haven't played many live shows over the years, tho are quite well travelled especially in the United Kingdom but haven't done a tour in 10-years.
