I first heard this song last year while in chemotherapy to cure breast cancer. For some reason it made me feel stronger. Inside the sickness, I got a lot of things sorted out in my mind and in my life and came out victorious and stronger. Peace and love to all

My favorite song of 2012. Gosh how time flies. Saw em twice in New York first in 2012 and then 2013. The chorus is just so relaxing and nostalgic, perfect melodic combo!
White sun Spring of wealth Come for a good time It's not what I have Vibrate Life on the line My racing heart Your vacant mind If I sow a wind now I will reap a storm You saw me sliding away from the sun And tomorrow Who will come And put their hand over mine Mine with the burning shape of a gun Washed out Soul of money Couldn't keep the fire It's not what I do Vibrate Life on the line My racing heart It's all I find Inside the sickness Rest Inside the sickness Rest If I sow a wind now I will reap a storm You saw me sliding away from the sun And tomorrow Who will come And put their hand over mine Mine with the burning shape of a gun
I don't know that you can really classify Katatonia's sound by genre but that's not a bad thing. Calling them metal doesn't really do their sound justice because their music goes so much deeper than that.
I remember hanging out with the Dead End Kings in my headphones on the beaches of Egypt where I went on holidays... Was truly unforgettable. My favorite band still. Try their last album, it's amazing! Jonas and guys, you are the ones and only!❤
@@wekings9073 All the songs are 10/10. You say one song is the best, and then you're like shit, no, what about this one? And then you're like wait I forgot about this one. And then you're ooh yea I forgot about this one. And then you're like dead letters is metal as fuck.
How good can a band get, really! This is like dark Beatles, and then some! So poetic, so melodic, so subtle, so soulful... It took me three years of intense listening to become THIS sure that this is THIS brilliant. I'm speechless, really. Godlike. And the verse: "If I sow a wind now I will reap a storm" Divine.
Why does the beginning seconds of this song remind me of Madonna's Frozen...? WTF. I thinks it is because of the robotic-like sounds in the background, but holy shit my mind still remembers that creepy video shit of hers from the 1990's.
I think this is about someone who's trapped in the corridors of their own minds. Their memories are becoming threadbare, they haven't long to go and they are seeking a savior & this other person is saying it's not what I have, I can't be this for you.
