This video is about Anna and I designing, photographing and packing the Christmas cards for this years Christmas boxes. It wasn't as easy as we thought it would be... but we are really pleased with the result! We hope you will love them too.
The Christmas boxes go on sale on the 8th of November at 7pm GMT, set an alarm to avoid disappointment.... There is a limited number and once they're gone they're gone! Join the mailing list on the home page of the website for news of shop updates

Thank you so much Kate for your lovely share...when this one started I took and second and third look because you and I have quite a few of the same/similar bits! Honestly, it was like I was looking at areas in my home! :) I find it's rare these days that so much thought and care is put into each thing that's given as a gift until watching you. Oh what a special treat that would be to have one of those gorgeous stars in the Liberty fabric. Now that would be a gift. The cards are just beautiful. It simply amazes me how happy you are and have wonderful people surrounding you. I dearly love the quilt that hangs behind you. I sometimes pause it so I can just admire it. Thanks for sharing!!! My cat is perched on my lap and shes taking in everything you say !!!

Those bits of glass you wondered how people used are often put in the bottom of aquariums for decoration, particularly for Betta fish. Also, some people put them on top of the soil in plant pots. You can also use them as bits of mosaic.

My granddaughter called those bits of glass “wishy rocks” and she would put one or two in each of our newly potted plants and make a wish. I asked her what she wished and she laughed and said “I wish this plant will grow”! Now her twins daughters are almost four years old and they enjoy adding wishy rocks to our new plantings!

The search for appropriately seasonal bit and bobs reminded me of my lovely porcelain stars that I purchased from the shop long ago. I have them displayed year-round and they are so much a part of my decor that I don't necessarily see them as being 'Christmas'. I had a chance encounter with one of your envelopes from last year today as well -- I spilled star glitter all over the kitchen floor and I laughed out loud and said, "Thank you, Kate!" xx

Hello from Canada. I've just recently come across your channel, and I must say, you are lovely. I love seeing all the bits and bobs you have in your very "homely home". It feels like such a warm and magical place. It also gives me perspective on my own home, because you see, I have all those bits and bobs too, and I sometimes think that when people come over all they see is a big mess, but that's not at all what I see when I peek at your place. Your house is a treasure trove😍. One day, Agnes is going to think it’s magic going to Grandma’s house-all the color and sparkle and love. You and Anna did a fantastic job on those cards. I have my ceramic stars hanging above my kitchen table. They are treasured.

Loved the birds and beads and shells that remind me of abalone :) even if they didn't end up as cards. Stars was a nice holiday theme idea. The bulbs are sure pretty. You came up with a nice set in the end :)

Got to agree on the card front we stopped sending about 90 cards we send the cost of the cards and postage to the local hospice, we hand deliver just certain cards the last time we sent cards we put in a little note explaining what we were doing and the amount of our friends that were waiting for someone to start giving to charity was amazing now most of them give to charity instead of posting cards

Beautiful cards, and you both looked like you had a lot of fun making them. This year I haven't made any of my usual hand made gifts, I just didn't have the get up and go! I was thinking of making goody hampers, but since I don't know when I'll be seeing my family I'll leave them until next Christmas. Unfortunately that means I'll be drinking the damson gin I made last year on the Lime Green Sofa, would anybody like a glass?
