I'd pay that price (and more) for a complete Hounds Of Love sessions CD box set - all alternate takes, demos, unreleased songs (if any) with a fairly lavish booklet with plenty of photographs from the recording sessions and music video.

I really like this presentation and I would expect to pay just under the £50 mark (which is still expensive). Not even a poly lined sleeve. There is no way on earth they can justify this price tag for what is presented here. I would fully expect this to be heavily discounted at some point.

So that’s the original price? I just figured it was the price now a year later because it’s a limited edition. The Dreaming one that’s coming out is only £40

Love Kate Bush and this album but it should at that price include a coloured vinyl and booklet with lyrics .

And a second disc with the 12 inch mixes and b-sides would have been nice.

And the album mix of Big Sky reinsted in it's proper place. And a second and third discs with ALL the b sides and alternative mixes. And at least one more disc of demos and unreleased tracks. And a hardback book. And a lossless download version. And a DVD featuring remastered videos and TV performances. And a signed certificate of authenticity. And I still probably wouldn't pay the asking price...

Uff pricey Kate. I’ll dig up my old Hounds LP and play it on my old Technics SL 1200, all from the 80s except the cartridge.

It’s a a lot of money for what it is . We all remember Floyd’s Pulse cd box with the same light , it wasn’t limited and it was a standard price at the time . Ok the battery did eventually run out but it could be replaced carefully. Anyway not for me . Happy Christmas Paul and all at SDE !

A very beautiful deluxe presentation. I think if this was relatively limited and numbered edition, that would definitely be a reason for the price. But what I don't understand - is this special deluxe presentation produced indefinitely, and just for a limited amount of time?

I hope she releases this without the rechargeable light because honestly the artwork is stunning. I want it but I don’t want to pay an extra $100 for a light I’m never gonna even use. Ha.

Kate's had complete artistic control over her design for more than 40 years so the idea this NEEDED repackaging at that gouging price-point is just ludicrous. Of all the artists I would've accused of re-releasing something for a cheap cash-grab, Kate was not one of those until now. Throw in a book, sign-and-number it and I'd say the price was warranted but this is just cynically preying on the completist hardcore fan with enough disposable income to buy this despite knowing they're being fleeced. Kate, shame on you.

It's literally just a cool product you can buy if you want to and not if you don't. What do you like an artist for if not their product? That is how much vinyl records cost in the 2020s. Do you think Kate controls the economy? 😂 I keep seeing such vicious comments about these re-releases despite Kate being the realest one out there.

So we reserve the right to not only not purchase a pointless and scandalously (over)priced re-release of an album, but to also be disgusted with the price of it. This pricing could be specifically for her millionaire friends in the music business, but it's definitely not for the average life long fans of her music who made her wealthy, especially at the time of a cost of living crisis which does not impact the wealthy like Kate at all. So stop defending the indefensible, and stop saying stupid things like 'you don't have to buy it...', which is both blatantly obvious but missing the point entirely. Apathy towards grotesque pricing like this is giving the record industry the idea and green light to keep on scamming fans like this - pushing the prices up as far as they think people will pay them. They know FULL well just how the emotional pull responses work with fans and their desires to own their idols products, and they are certainly playing upon them with this release. For one apparently non-limited piece of vinyl It's at least £70 overpriced - solar powered flashing light or not. There are high quality entire career spanning box sets that are cheaper than this!

It's a nice package but I don't know how the £138 price tag is justified. It's just another artist rinsing their fans. Some new music would be better. Or maybe she's out of ideas.🤷‍♂️

I think it's absolutely stunning. I really wish that here were photos and lyrics like already posted, and more. I suppose that the bulldog and hound have special meaning to Kate.

It's horrid artwork in my opinion but a matter of taste I guess.Those are not hounds-they look like mutts from a comic book . I will just keep my beautiful 80s original thanks -especially at that silly high price.
