The sun isn't the farthest away from the sun at winter solstice. It's the closest to the sun at the beginning of January, usually 3rd or 4th. Aphelion and perihelion. It's cold in winter in the northern hemisphere because of the angle at which we rotate. Otherwise it would be cold in the southern hemisphere as well. 🎶 The more you know... 🎶

This show has become so unfunny. It's awkward and cringe-inducingly difficult to watch great comedians like Kate McKinnon fail at being even slightly funny. Every now and then, SNL is hilarious, but it's less and less frequent these days. Sigh.😔

As someone who loved SNL as a teen in the 90's, I still love it today. It's still just as 'hit or miss' as ever, but when it hits, it's hilarious. Always interesting to see others who say it hasn't been funny in 'x' years. I'll admit, most of these promos are pretty boring, but I found this one entertaining. Props to Kate McKinnon for that : )
