Kate Middleton meets adorable boy dressed as Royal Guard | Prince and Princess of Wales arrive at the Greentown lab in Somerville, to learn about North America's largest clean-tech incubator. William and Kate also met a young boy, Henry Dynov-Teixeira who was fully dressed as a Royal Guard. His mother, Irina, told the cameras they had purchased the costume in October and after seeing the change of the guard in London Henry asked to be dressed like one of them.

I understand what you mean but that's what you do when you are talking to children...BUT yes, they are very attentive when they meet children mainly, I think because they are parents to small children as well so it's very natural for them, especially the Princess of Wales.
