Diana was lovely, photogenic, and came from a family of courtiers. She did great work with her duties as Princess of Wales, and she made sure that her two sons understood the legacy of their positions, and she certainly was a more attentive parent than any of her predecessors. She was also emotionally unstable, naive, uneducated and prone to jealousy. Two things can be true at the same time. I think Catherine’s superpower is her emotional stability and good common sense.
@@KourttneyLCharles wasn’t the cause of her problems. Diana was depressed since she was a child when her mother abandoned their family. Diana had mental problems before even meeting Charles. There’s books and statements done by Diana herself. Research first before telling someone to “get it right” when you yourself haven’t got a bit of a clue apparently. Princess Catherine is PRINCESS CATHERINE. She is not trying to be the next princess diana unlike the other whining one, Meganut. Princess Catherine is graceful, emotionally stable, dependable, humble, patient, understanding and responsible.

Princess Catherine is here and is proving herself as a wonderful Royal each day. No one could or should be compared to Diana, she should be allowed to rest in peace, she had her day. Also, she should be referred to as Catherine, The Princess of Wales, not Kate. Prince William came out years ago and requested she not be referred to as Kate.
After watching this video and reading comments I agree that Catherine is her own person. Diana has passed on and should be left in peace. It's not justified or fair to Catherine who has been terribly ill be compared to Diana. Catherine is her own person with great qualities. Blessings to her.
Both Princess Diana and Princess Catherine have a sense of duty and loyal to the monarchy. They’re also good hearted and are great beauties. Both have qualities fit for royalty.

Catherine is not the new Diana. Catherine is a person of her own. But Catherine is walking down the path Diana had walked -A warm heart and a independent woman. I love it. People who lived at that time probably know. Throughout the 80s and 90s there was one name and one face you couldn’t avoid. ‘Diana, Princess of Wales’ She was the People’s Princess. If Diana was alive, she would have helped for Catherine whenever she had a hard time in the royal. Catherine is doing really well and will be!! I hope she gets enough rest and gets well soon. Diana was a one off. There will be another one like her though many have tried. Catherine will remind us of her Middleton upbringing and Queen Elizabeth 2. She will oneday emerge as Catherine the Kind - just what the world needs at this time in history. Kind not to be confused with enabling but strength , integrity and loyalty.
The difference between Diana and Catherine (Kate), Charles married Diana because he had to find a wife that would give him an heir and a spare, plus he was never in love with her, he married her because it was his duty to make sure that he had a future king. It was more like an arranged marriage and he was in love with Camilla, he just used Diana but he didn't expect her to be so vocal about their marriage and he didn't like the fact that she was in the spot light and a lot of people wanted to see her and not him. Charles was cheating on Diana the whole time that they were together and he wanted to marry Camilla but his mom wouldn't approve of the marriage. The one thing that is different between Catherine and Diana is William married Katie out of love and not duty, he is Charles and Diana's son, but when it came to finding the right woman to marry, he chose to be with Catherine when they were both ready to get married and nobody was going to tell him no that he can't be with her and he chose Catherine to be his wife and that's because he is in love with her. Catherine is not trying to be like Diana or act like her, she is her own person and she has her own way of doing things, but in some ways she's like Diana because the people loved Diana and they love Catherine too because she is Williams wife and William is Diana's son and they love the fact that she is not trying to take her place but she is doing her business and she treats them with kindness just like Diana had done. William looks at his wife with love and Charles would act like he was in love with Diana, at times he looked like that he was in love with her and that was when he was away from Camilla and when she was near him that's when he would be a different person and William is not like that at all with his wife. The one thing was that the people wanted to see Diana and not Charles, but that wasn't her fault, she does the same thing that Catherine does and that's to talk to the people.

Can't compare the two. Kate is beautiful and a lovely person but Diana was in a different stratosphere. A brilliant shooting star with an inimitable heart quality.
It's impossible not to see the similarities between Princess Diana and Princess Catherine in terms of their kindness, charitable work, genuine care and concern for others, their charm, wit, sparkling personalities, and of course, their inner and outer beauty.
Yes, Diana certainly has had some influence in Catherine. How could she not? She is her mother-in-law who is loved and adored by her husband, William. However, Catherine is not the new Diana. Catherine is her own self who has proven to have carved her own place in the Royal Family, and nor has she tried to be. Their hands-on approach to raising children is a combination of Diana, the Middletons, and also a bit from Sophie and Edward. Catherine doesn't need to fit into a void left by someone; she has simply created her own presence that no one else can replace.
There was just something about Diana that no one will ever be replicate. I wasn’t even alive when Diana was alive but I still feel so connected to her and we couldn’t have lived in a more different way. Shes an icon, one of the first “celebrities” to advocate for mental health and spoke openly about her struggles with bulimia, self harm, postpartum depression, and changed the idea that people view aids. She did that all on her own, knowing no one in the royal family would back her. She truly felt like more than just a human. There’s not many people who grade the covers of magazines WEEKLY 26 years after their death. Truly so incredible.
An insult to compare and report they are similar. Diane was emotionally unstable and married after 4 or 5 dates. Kathryn came from a wonderfully stable family and took ten years to get to know William. Please don't go there again.
I think Kate will exceed what Diana had accomplished first bec of time factor and she is focused on her work. Diana has charm and charisma on her side. I love them both.

Diana never would have been Queen. She was not emotionally /mentally mature enough. Diana was very silly and petty and had a very very harsh streak to her.
