It’s not that long ago she was a socialist firebrand, nuclear weapons refusenik and dyed in the wool Corbynite socialist who referred to the Tories as sc*m. Now she is just another of Santa’s little helpers. Sad really but as I say, completely predictable.

@@tatata1543 I get your point, but I think there's more to it. Angela's shift might seem drastic, but aligning with Starmer is strategic move to make Labour more electable. Under Corbyn, the party faced significant electoral challenges, and Starmer's approach is about appealing to a broader base. Angela adapting to this isn't necessarily about personal gain but about pragmatism and ensuring the party can win and implement progressive policies. Politicians often have to navigate complex party dynamics, and sometimes that means evolving their stance. It doesn’t mean they’ve sold out; it could just mean they’re playing the long game for the greater good of the party and its goals.

They're not saying people should have to rent a house but if multiple people come forward wanting to rent, the landlord should be free to chose whoever they want. Keir Starmer is saying they should be stuck with a tenant before they've even signed a contract is just not how markets work.

Actually a lot of us care. He stood behind and supported a man, who he then subsequently kicked out of the party with no justification. That's a major issue. It's speak to backstabbing politics within the Labour Party, the ousting of its left wing members, and the fact that Kier can't just answer a question with a straight and simple answer. This wouldn't still be in the media's headlights if Kier wasn't trying to imitate the slimeiness of sunak in interviews.

Why is the presenter getting so much about nothing,in regards to Corbyn.. These presenter on TV is having a go at labour in regards to a person ,name Corbyn ,that cause so much anger in 2019 .Why? He should have step aside ,knowing he would not win against Boris.. Why is the media,picking out Labour, where were these presenters ,when Boris was lying,hiding ,drinking ,partying.... Short memories I dare say. Starmer is not perfect,however he is more in tune with the running of a country,than Corbyn .. Look back at the choice of Corbyn ,then chancellor,with his little red book in opposing the conservative chancellor,Osbourne ... Corbyn got lucky after Miliband failed. Starmer is the only person in the labour party ,that is worthy of being a in command of his briefing in his job. Boris had no idea of what it took to run a country honestly. Sadly the memories of COVID will be stained in many people ... Itv presenter ,is useless ,not one of them ,got to be on itv ... I have not been watching,I only came across this Good morning by chance on my phone.

😂 compete nonsense by Rayner. - we vett a candidates' past behavior to ensure we have qualified reps. - our past behavior of supporting a position/person that we now currently don't support is exempt from the vetting procedure for certain candidates including Starmer. In a nutshell, we decide who we want and not the people of a constituency. These people are mush brains.

It has to be said that 'better than Boris Johnson' is a bar you could probably walk over without even noticing. But I don't think Corbyn would have made much of a Prime Minister. He would have struggled to form a consensus within his party, having been a rebel and member of the awkward squad his entire career. Still, doing nothing would have been better than what we actually got.
