Kate is an amazing woman. She may not have "used her voice" when she was younger and insecure.. However she is only a few years older then I am and I am so happy that she is the type of woman my 17 year old daughter can model after... She's a true inspiration and her honesty of normal living is extremely refreshing...

Yeah totally. I was so mesmerized with Rose. You just couldn't take your eyes off her, and I think it's all about how Kate carried herself and embodied the character, her acting where she's this sophisticated woman who is slowly suffocating to death because of all the ways she was suppressed and made to feel invisible. She portrayed all that with so much grace and skill, but the press had to focus on all the wrong things 🤦 and honestly, I never thought or felt she was fat in that movie. To me she was perfect, I never felt anything out of place. Only now when I look back, with more exposure to extra thin women in the media, I am finally able to see what the press was saying, and that goes on to show that a lot of our perceptions of beauty is based on what we see every day. Not really on actual beauty. Beauty truly lies in the eye of the beholder. And I'm glad there's more awareness now and an attempt to show different forms of beauty, so we aren't brainwashed to view only version of it

Me too, I first saw her there and recently I've seen a clip of her audition for Titanic and she was magnetic and amazing, from the first second I could recognize her talent.

I haven't seen tiktoks of young men bragging about getting buccal fat removal surgery for their 18th birthday. I haven't seen young men promoting training your face so you can talk without moving your face too much or promoting staws that prevent wrinkles. But I have seen women posting this type of content to their audience consisting primarily of young girls which is why I spoke about it rather than something I haven't seen.
