When this routine was finished, you could see the raw emotion on Joshua's face. That this routine was his last dance with Katee was hitting him like a ton of bricks. From the very start, I never thought this pairing would work, but they killed it, week after week! Stunning!
Mine too!!! They really downplayed her a lot, giving her little credit and josh all of it. I do like josh but what made them so special was the fact they were equally talented and in sync naturally and spiritually. Greatest Couple EVER
That was so organic and real, it wasn't dance, it was Picasso, Monet and Degas rolled into one. It was breathing and fluid motion, the chemistry all forming and disforming at the same time. Brilliant! Those two were made in heaven, as another poster suggested, and we got to watch two angels at play.
I still have soo much respect for Joshua as to how brilliant he is in contemporary and how he is able to adapt his iconic dance specialty and be able to master it all in such a short amount of time, considering he didn't come off as a contemporary dancer! Welcome to evolution why I love this show. No matter what dancer is good at as to one certain type of dance, they are meant to evolve and revolutionize themselves and do all! Brilliant! And hell gods Joshua is hot! Body of a god (gods) Zeus would be my pick *wink*
Makes you wonder what they were saying to each other when they embraced in the end of the dance. They practically spent the whole season together. Still the best SYTYCD season!
Ok im joshua allens #1 fan....and I know we all r lol...but damn katie put so much emotional pain and jaggedness into every movement it was like 1/3 dance and 2/3 acting and she played the hell out that part. My gut hurts just watching her expose herself like that. Her shapes were so sharp and cornered just like she was broken emotionally. She killed it and damn if she didnt deserve the crown. Got mad love for Josh and katie
Ooh, his braces are off, soo cute! Anyways, on or off, still cute! I felt their sadness and sense of loss, they went so far together and it was their last performance together.
This show is suffering from too much repetitive contemporary and the same few choreographers recycling used moves now. We need Wade Robson and Mark Kanemura back as choreographers! Wade is a freaking genius!! Please come back Wade!
They are such an odd pair. She makes him a much better dancer technically. She improves as well, because she trust him. Together, they are the best team. I think that is why he won over Twitch.
