Gracias abrazos
Hola, no puedo entender tu pregunta. ¿Quieres venir a Monza?
This is the huge difference between a latest generation turbo car like the BMW and a still old school car like the splendid Lamborghini with a naturally aspirated engine.
Hello @italiansupercarvideo, is it possible that could possibly use a lavelier microphone when recording onboards, since you can place them in very small or specific places like close to the engine and exhaust etc
I often do it; I use specific microphones for onboard videos. Specifically, I am pleased with the Olympus Me-51s model that I insert into the audio output of my action cam. It isn't easy to insert action cameras on test days like these, but sometimes it happens. I used precisely that microphone in this video, and I'm thrilled with the result: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wu5dX0tvF-w.html. One car that I would love to film internally is the new BMW M4 GT3; I hope this can happen in the future.
@@Italiansupercarvideo I'd say it would be awesome to put the mic close to the engine, like right above it or behind it if its inside, there are people who use these onboards to reproduce car sounds in simulators, you would be surprised by the amount of talent there is with so little footage of certain cars!
@@soundmoddinglawyer Now I understand what you wanted to tell me. I'm familiar with the world of simulators; over the years, I've been contacted by a couple of guys who make video games and have used the onboard sound in a couple of my videos to reproduce the sound of those cars. The idea of a microphone inside the engine is a great thing. With my friend 19Bozzy92, we sometimes talk about it. But it's not easy; you have to find the team and the rider who understands what we want to do and let the microphones pass. Unfortunately, in 99% of cases, during these tests, the teams are too busy collecting data and making the proper car set-up that they don't have time to accommodate us. Sometimes, it's already a success to be able to create onboard... 😅
