Hi Ganesh, I understand you are the architect of the whole program. You and Mami are doing a great service. Recipes that are otherwise inaccessible to majority of people are presented so clearly and expertly. Even a total novice like me is able to create these wonderful dishes if not in the first attempt, in two-three attempts. A big thank you to both from the bottom of my heart. Please continue this unique and valuable service.God bless you.
Hi Ganesh, I was amused to hear the reference to Milaga Pazham. What is it? Is it same as vaththal milagai. Vaththal implies sun dried. Pazham does not sound like a dried item. Is it by any chance a differentiator for gundu miagai? Probably it is a vattaara vazhakku. Hence this query. Hope I will get an answer despite 4 years having passed.

Dear Maami The Great, Me and my wife Preethi are big fan of yours. Your insight into each and every thing is magic. We really wish and pray you live for eternity and help all our younger Indian Tamil New Gen people who are slowly loosing our great Tamil identity in our daily walks of life. How you and uncle have lived and still speaking our old style "namma ooru local" Tamil words are simply amazing. Blessed to have known you and your family. At this moment I must thank my lovely wife Preethi for discovering you in Internet. Our hearty wishes for you, uncle healthy well being for many years to come. Wishes to Ganesh, Krishna and your entire family for sticking with old traditions and telling us to do so... 😊 With regards, Sankar and Preethi.

Mami red chilly seasoned can be taken along with curd rice... 😉 Kan parta kai seium... This is how we grew.. Now Kan parta kai order pannum online la 😅
Pitla is borrowed name from maharashtrian cuisine. Rasavangi is palakkad. Main difference is in the amount of spices used which renders different taste to the dishes. I also add some peppercorns in rasavangi but not in pitla...
Hi Gita, really enjoy your recipes which are perfect! By the way, are you related to Dr Surya Naraynan who was working in Salem first as Supervisory Unit officer in NMEP programme and then worked as Health Officer in Salem He and my father were colleagues and they were our neighbours in Swarnapuri, Salem during 1959-60 Dr had three daughters and two sons and one of the son's name was Rajamani...
