She really needs to get back to this kinda stuff. She’s such a talented joke writer. But she can’t shake the Trump thing, and it’s completely made her obsessed with talking about that. It’s like the incident scared her funny bone off. We are ALL OUT HERE waiting for you to decimate Hollywood like before, Kathy. Don’t let the assholes live rent-free in your head anymore.
I think Kathy should do a podcast where she looks back on all of her specials that she's done and gives her take on which moments for her most favorite and most meaningful. Because she has to assume that she'll never work in Hollywood again and just about every talk show has her permanently banned so she won't likely have places to go to promote anything like a tour if she decides to go on the road again
She was recently on The View (and maybe a couple other shows, not sure). She has had a helluva couple of years. She tried to commit suicide, has gone through cancer and is hopefully recovered (but one never knows with that insidious disease). She was still funny, of course, but I worry for her. Wishing her a speedy recovery and back out there again, if that's what she wants.

I love her comedy and hope she is able to do another special perhaps one day. I did see her on The View which was nice especially since the ban was probably lifted again.

Lindsey lohan did not go to prison. Never has. She went to JAIL. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but people say that all the time. Prison is different than jail. Prison only holds convicted felons (I believe, in most states people don't go to prison for misdemeanors unless they've broken their parole by getting a new charge of any kind) whereas jail mostly holds people who have been aressted and charged but either aren't convicted or sentenced yet. Or it hold people serving sentences a year or less. I know I'm being nit picky, sorry. But I hear ppl say that shit all the time and get it confused.
Due to the time restriction, she had to switch topics too quickly and didn't get a chance to really flesh out her stories. She probably would have been better served with sticking to one or two related stories and really dug in.
I love how they flash to the audience and they are all laughing and shit and then they switch to behind Kathy and everyone is just staring... and apparently clapping and laughing too. Only Kathy can make people clap with their minds.

It's been 12 years of her declining more each and every year... do you still feel the same? There was nothing even amusing here, let alone funny. They are using the FRIENDS laugh track . Even the people who willing went to see this didn't laugh.
They have spliced in scenes of the audience apparently laughing , but at some one else that was on stage during the show and added it with to her horrible stand up routine along with laugh tracks. Check the 3 minute mark, it shows a close up of the audience laughing, then suddenly you see her and the audience all together in a shot and they are all sitting there bored to tears.
Searched "best of kathy griffin", I got this.....She spoke about 5 different things in 7 minutes and the only funny thing was boobs. Yikes. And for her to fuck up respect the court(1:43-1:59)...you missed the whole joke. Lindsey didnt mean to DISrespect the court. If you're going to make a joke and them fumble the main word/punchline then whole joke falls off and it doesnt make sense.
I agree with KPODIK. The laughs have to be fake. It's a laugh track, I guess, since you can see that the audience wasn't necessarily amused by her comedy. A lot of people outside of the gay community don't really get Kathy's comedy. It's definitely a laugh track, though.
god.. i don't understand how people don't find her effing hilarious! I think those people are the sort that just enjoy dumb jokes about genitals and overly enthusiastic performances(dane cook). They are just not smart enough to realize the subtle genius that is Kathy Griffin.
She's actually a good comedian. You just came here a day ago, since the whole beheading trump thing was a couple days ago. She made a huge mistake and ruined her career.
Well really she's just telling stories about mostly, from what I've seen, celebrities. Not much of subtle genius either, she just bashes you over the head with stupid stories and bits of celebrity news. Her transitions are sort of awkward, not much flow. She may not be as loud or a douche like Dane Cook, but she comes from the same school of comedy. Dumb jokes, that aren't really jokes, no real punchlines or thought on how the show will operate as a coherent whole. But that's just my opinion.
How is this even remotely funny. Must b what little friends she has left after the trump train rolled over her. Her career is over. Trump for 8 more years please.
kathy griffin's claim-to-fame: 1) she looks exactly like katey sagal (and they even have similar first names!), 2) she even has the same last name as merv, 3) always ends a sentence in, like, an upward inflection and stuff (?) or a trailed-off ellipse (,,,) Another cursing comedian with a limited vocabulary that only talks about one subject.
