It took a sorry man to be abusive to this sweet woman that was only 5' ft. 5in. tall and weighed 120 lbs. In spite of the abuse she went on to win 5 titles. Kathy is a real woman. I love her.
I saw a movie she was in years ago where she was dealing with a bunch of bikers and have been in love ever since. I'm glad to find this interview and know she's doing well. Too bad about the bad boyfriend but looks like she survived and is doing well. God bless you Kathy.
I actually have a new podcast coming out where she is sharing her experience as cat woman’s stunt double! Make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss it!
I truly dislike him dominating the interview. I came to watch her. He seems to not know much, unprepared, and a consummate bullshitter. Kathy comes across as genuine, experienced, and eminently patient with him.
I agree with you, Joel. I couldn't watch the interview because he was totally ignorant about simple fight world knowledge at the beginning of this interview, with no shame nor apology.
@@jasongarduno1838, you know she's still alive and active, don't you? I've exchanged a few notes with her through Facebook Messenger. Very nice person!
Well, he's not the best interviewer for sure but he at least captured this beautiful athlete on film and it will be an inspiration to some battered woman somewhere in this world.
He talks way too much. That's why I can't even watch his training videos. Too much talking. His videos go on and on before he ever gets to the point of what he is supposed to be teaching you.
yes, was talking about himself a lot, but she was listening and learning. She sounded like walter Patton who played pro football. His training was so hard for six months, when he played a regular game, he was in shape, mentally, and never give in to pain. She inspires me to work out again. she walks on water in my book and her love for people, herself, and God.
I have a podcast coming out with her soon where she talks about her experience as cat woman stunt double! Make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss it!
Kathy was a real legend in Kickboxing ... she came on the mat in LA for a few weeks, a pity she didnt persist with Jiu Jitsu ... nevertheless, she contributed a lot to the martial arts landscape.
I love watching Kathy Long fight in her prime. What a show " woman ", very talented, a tigress in the ring, and dog gonnit.....she was not and is still not hard to look at !! Signed, Doug.
I have a podcast coming out soon with her on it talking about her experience as cat woman’s stunt double, make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss it!
Good interview but only scratched the surface, she actually had a near death experience through drowining when she was a child. She could easily write a book about her life.
She's professional massage Therapist? Which there's Ayuverda which shares a meridian system.with China where prana, chi same, marma, etc. It might work as Kalaripauttu believes in it as it's part of their training. I had an excellent book on aminos years ago, Big book. Which look at animal feed especially formulated for maximum gain for animals producing milk or meat. I'd imagine they'd maximize wool production too. Dogs, house dog, hunting dog, etc. Where look at breakfast cereals it's dogfood with different flavoring. Maximizing consumption is the desire with humans.
Miller was all over the place and in no way properly interviewed Long who in her day was far and away the best kick boxer in the world. Miller wanted to tell stories and be rather than interview. I never thumbs down... ever. But I can't wait to do it now. Miller quit now while you're already behind.
loved her in Knights and wished Pyun had made the rest of them instead of leaving it, would have been more interesting than the nemesis sequels, part 2 was ok but 3 and 4 horrid also Kathy`s acting was pretty good and amazing fights
I have never heard of you, I just came here for Kathy Longs interview, you are putting too much of yourself into this interview. You may know your stuff which is great , but I came here for Kathy Long. The beginning was terrible, plus take an hour or too before the interview to learn about your subject. This was not all good.
I made the previous comment halfway through the video, I could not finish watching because Mr Costa kept putting his life stories into the interview. Get over your ego and let Kathy talk.
I like the way Lou Costa and as president himself in that Italian way which is similar to the black folks no my folks want to talk we talk with her hands and you sometimes you know touch and everything I just hope Kathy didn't take it offensive it's just a cultural thing by the way I agree with everything you said how about the fake trainers and accidents and stuff yes me and that dude we could talk all day
If so has all that energy to do all she did, she's bordering on Wonder Woman. Where is Kat today? She surely does Gracie or Machado Jiu Jitsu, advancing her Aikido and probably owns something along the lines of a ranch or homestead. It'd be interesting to see her Aikido. Then if she interacts with Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson, etc.? She probably could benefit Sly's Expendable movie, 😂😉
I have a podcast that will be released soon where she talks about her experiences as cat woman’s stunt double! She will be on again updated us on her life, make sure you subscribe so you can see them!
