I cannot believe what I have just witnessed. I started watching Strictly in its 8th series and Anton has had to put up with quite a bit since then but the joy he has dancing with Katie. I mean it left me breathless I was grinning like a fool at my screen. I mean Katie she has such grace. I thought I was watching Anton dance a pro routine with Erin (Boag). It was amazing and so well deserving of the top of the leaderboard.
That was beautiful. She's so elegant. The speed. The lovely spins. The very comfortable to watch pivots. So much content. Hands stayed the same all through out which was lovely. The arms are just beautiful. Timings good. Her bends are lovely and very nice movement across the floor. 9
Brilliant dance. Totally deserved top dance of the nite. About time we are able to see Anton really dance. Poor Jay brilliant last week but really not good this week. There really are quite a few of them that are really good.
I am so sad they never got to re-perform this in the final. This is one of the best dances in the series. The only reason it didn't get a ten first time out was Katie being slightly out of time in the intro. Had they reperformed it, that was 40. Right there. Better than Jay's jive? Tough, but maybe. Jay's jive annoyed me thanks to his free arm which was stiff and ugly.
Not a mention of Katie's stumble at the start of the dance from the judges but loads of mentions of Jay's fault this show is just becoming more and more contrived!
Well, Katie's error was pretty minor compared to Jay's many, obvious errors. Just because someone does a better dance than your favourite, doesn't mean it's fixed or fake.
Neither of them are my favourite don't have one was just stating that it was strange none of the judges picked up on the stumble when they normally do. Katie danced last which in strictly usually means high expectations for the dance. I believe in being fair that's all!
+jaygee72 What a ridiculous comment. Jay made MANY mistakes and they were very obvious. I didn't notice a stumble from Katie the first time I saw the dance and now, on my 4th watch of it I still can't see it. Jay made a complete mess of his dance.
