“That what I need to survive is not Gale's fire, kindled with rage and hatred. I have plenty of fire myself. What I need is the dandelion in the spring. The bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. The promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. That it can be good again. And only Peeta can give me that.”
I REMEMBER THIS LINE IN THE BOOK AND I STARTED CRYING AND MY MOM MADE ME STOP READING FOR A WEEK CAUSE SHE THOUGHT I NEEDED TO STOP BEING ATTACHED TO FICTIONAL CHARACTERS
I love how you used Arcade, especially the lyrics "small town boy in a big arcade" and the scenes are about Peeta. He's a poor district's boy stuck in a game arena, protecting the girl he loved for all his life. Like, ever since he was chosen during the "Reaping" he really was stuck in a losing game, a game where only one can live, and that one should be the "deserving" and the "need" of all. It showed how much Peeta deserved better, giving his life, keeping his promise, doing everything he can, all for the girl he loved. But one cannot blame Katniss for that either, as both of them deserved better. But actually, no too, nobody should ever go through that. (Maybe Snow and Coin, lmao)
When I first heard this song, I immediately thought of Peeta’s role and perspective in the Hunger Games. The lyrics fit so well and I’ve been looking for this song with hunger games edits for a while. I am SO satisfied that I finally found one, and this just made my night. great job and thank you!👏🧘♀️ also this is hella underrated
I binged watched it before they remove it on Netflix by September 13. But I'm getting addicted and obsessed, and knowing it would soon disappear there isn't helping. 😭
obviously i love peeta and katniss so i love this, but THE EDITING JOB OMG the way you timed some of the clips is amazing. like when the arena exploded or peeta shoved katniss into the wall at the beat drop? chills
Peeta is the most patient man I have seen in a long time. I would have given up on Katniss if I were him. She is amazing. But when it comes to feelings, she is very slow.
This is so good! You captured their story so well and I love how you even matched when there was a beat drop and what happened in the video . Good job!
