Katy Perry really does have musical talent, and a damn good amount of it, really, a lot of the time you wouldn't really think it at first sight, but scratch the surface and you see, she just doesn't really show it that much as it's not what mainstream pop wants from her. Both have very different voices and can hit notes that the other can't touch.
And yeah it's your opinion if you prefer Perry's song. We all have different taste. You're not obliged to love her songs but you can't say she's untalented! She have more voice than a lot of artist today, she's a beast on stage, and she pioneered in fashion.

How did this turn to Katy vs. Gaga? Katy and Gaga both have AMAZING voices and a love for what they do. In my own opinion Katy is better, she shows her message without messing with religion, Gaga messes with it left and right in BTW which is why a lot of people dont like her, but I still like Gaga, just like katy more

She started on the wrong note and that affected the whole song. If she'd have started on the right one, it would sound in-tune. But she's still amazing!
Dam, they are (GaGa abd Perry) talented. I don't want to say one is better than the other. You are fan of Katy but it doesn't give you the right to say that Lady Gaga ''is a untalented Freak''! And about that, she's not a freak, she plays a character, She's so kind. I am a big fan of Michael Jackson and people always treat him like a freak without knowing him! And I don't want people to do the same with her.

The lyric is as dumb as it can be but then again, the almighty Beatles used to write silly lyrics like "I wanna hold your hand" (which I love it too.) That's pop!!
