Hey, thanks for the kind words! Yeah, there were some arrangements that I was pretty excited about, so I'm kinda bummed out about having to scrap them. I guess I'll probably end up recording some of my favorite arrangements anyway at some point, even if I have no plans to release a full album of pop material. Maybe what I'll do is just release some mini-albums of pop stuff here and there. I've actually taken a look at DistroKid, as it seems to be a favorite amongst many musicians, so I'll definitely keep it in mind when it comes time to release my album. Right now Soundrop is lookin' like the cheapest option, but since they don't actually exist yet, it's impossible to know what their service/customer support is gonna be like. But I still have plenty of work to do, so I guess I'll have time to see how the whole Soundrop thing is gonna play out.

That's a siren whistle. The one that I have was $3, but there's also a "professional" one made by Acme that sells for about $33. It looks interesting, but I don't know how often I would really need a professional siren whistle.

Thanks! Haha, I WISH I had a steel drum that had that sort of range. This steel drum only plays a G major scale, so it's applications are a bit limited, but I've managed to work it into at least four arrangements so far (Celestial Beings, Water Land, this one, and one that I haven't posted yet).

I suppose it works out for the better. After all, who knows how long it would have taken me to record and make videos for a total of 24 tracks? lol. At least this way I'll be able to release something a lot sooner.

PoopPoopFart Runescape is an MMORPG, meaning it's constantly being updated. The game developers have been doing a good job of using "real" instruments in their music lately, along with updating old songs. But there are some old songs that haven't been touched. Here's a list and two song ideas: villermen.com/browser/music/RuneScape%203 villermen.com/music/RuneScape%203/Harmony2.ogg villermen.com/music/RuneScape%203/Sea%20Shanty%20I.ogg There's also a 2007 version of the game (the community asked for one, because it's considered Runescape's Golden Age) that have little to no actual instrumental songs. Unfortunately, I dont know if there is a list of the 2007 songs that provides an actual audio clip along with it. Right now I'm planning on uploading a new video every other Friday. Not sure how long I'll be able to maintain that upload frequency, but everything's lookin' pretty good for the foreseeable future.

I could, but since Bandcamp doesn't handle licensing, it's my understanding that I would have to acquire my own mechanical licenses for any cover songs that I upload to Bandcamp. Sounds complicated, so I'm probably just gonna go with DistroKid or Soundrop, depending on how Soundrop is lookin' in a couple months.
