@@r.e.m.beauty488 i think she was revolutionary in the sense that she commercialized female rap in a way no one before her had. which did open doors for other women, when female rap was previously seen as dead. But as far as like her actual imagery or lyrical content goes she wasnt unique.
@@r.e.m.beauty488 she is unique. All her songs invoked a different tone yet still rap. Nicki changed the way how rap was viewed and how it was used. Celebrities like Cardi B followed similar styles. Nicki’s way of rap was different than Eminem’s style.
I love Bon Iver, but I can't honestly say that he is more popular than Katy Perry. She's a pop artist, so naturally, she is more popular in the mainstream industry.

Best New Artist is not Most Famous Artist. Not one single album of Nicki and Katy can even come close to the critical reception of Bon Iver debut album made in isolation. Bless thy ears with his music
He is average at best, but yeah please suggest me a song by him that proves he is "better" than Nicki or Katy. I can enlist so many songs by both girls to prove they are better.
I stopped rooting for nicki minaj to win since the loss of best new artist and her latest nomination. It was enough for many barbz to hope in vain 2 years ago when sfg wasnt even nominated and now announced nicki as a winner "by mistake". They are called scammys for a reason.
