@@moragev2606 key word is "i think", your opinion on her voice isnt, in any way, a description or characteristic of what her voice and her vocal improvement truly is. Ask every single vocal coach you know (not the fraud ones that i think u might use against me),and they'll say how great of a singer taylor is
I’d give the lows to Taylor (maybe Katy tied on G#3-A3), mostly tied on belts, though Katy’s slightly better (Katy had the D5, Taylor the E5 and I love the growl on Taylor’s G5) and definitely Katy for the HV.
Sass_King5 Katy sounds great at B4-D5 but E5 and G5 Taylor sounds better. Katy sings really like a singer meanwhile Taylor sings normally and it’s great that she’s singing on her comfort notes. On the F5 they both sounds great. A4 I’d give it to Taylor. Over-all Katy is really a good singer since she can support notes, but that doesn’t mean Taylor isn’t a good singer, she’s great at low notes which other singer struggles with.
I'd definitely give lows to Taylor. That's for sure her thing.😊 Her lows are 😍. She also has some nice D3s and C#3s. Mid Belts, I wanna give to Katy but Taylor suprised me, I'm shook😱 and confused. A4-B4, Taylor cause her resonance was so smooth. C5-Eb5- Katy cause her power and she has better support than Taylor here. E5-G5, Taylor is less strained here so... Tay Tay D6- Katy, her D6 was much better, more open and clear. THEY ARE BOTH AMAZING❤
They´re not as bad as people usually think! and WTF THAT KATY D5 IT SEEMS SUPPORTED. Also the katy D6 and the run were pretty easy for her... i´d be scared if she gets a good vocal training because she has potential, taylor also, her F5 was pretty good!!
I love them both so much but- Lows: Taylor, she showed alot of support on the low notes Mids & High: Katy, I feel like she just has more power to sing in that range and more specifically her belts.
Ummm...I hope we all aren't being biased and really give credit where it's due. Katy is clearly the winner here. Love both of them, but Katy has an amazing voice. She doesn't get enough credit for her voice.
Lows: Taylor, although Katy's G#3s and A3s surprised me. A4-B4: Katy has better technique, as she supports those notes, but Taylor sounded really nice. That B4 is probably my favorite from her. C5-C#5: Tie. D5: Katy! Eb5-E5: Taylor. F5: Katy. F#5-G5: Neither, but if I really need to choose, Taylor.. D6: Katy. Taylor wasn't bad tho. Great video, although I think Taylor has better A4s, Eb5s and E5s than these in this video.
In my humble opinion, for lows I really liked Taylor’s timbre as it really sounds so good especially when she sang Angels. Taylor won for low notes. On the high note A4-Bb4-B4 I prefer Katy because sometimes it sounds supported but lacks good vibrato though (Taylor lacks vibrato too). But for C5 I prefer Taylor’s idk why but I love her C5 and C#5 also. On D5 well of course, Katy wins BUT I actually heard some of Taylor’s D5 singing the high note of Shake it off, some of them sounds good but not better than Katy, it’s just better than her D5 during ...Ready for it? In Ebb5-G5 Taylor’s great and sounds great although some of her performances are strained but well I’m surprised. on the head voice I’m surprised with Katy’s D6 it really sounds good, but Taylor’s not bad though as it was recorded on phone only.
katy، but tay was good they both have improved and they have to show more of these vocals because some pepole say they can't sing , all the way katy still better but i love tay too and her range is getting wider
the two sing super good they have differences but they do it well I'm katycat but that's why I will not despise taylor when she does super well equal to katy
*Lows* A3: Katy G#3: Taylor G3: Taylor F#3: Taylor F3: Taylor E3: Taylor!! Eb3: Taylor *Belts* A4: Katy Bb4: Katy B4: Katy!! C5: Katy C#5 Taylor D5: Katy Eb5: Taylor E5: Taylor F5: Katy F#5: Katy G5: Tie *Head Voice* D6: Katy!!!!! Winner: TIE!
Lows : Taylor Belts : A4 : Tied Bb4: Katy B4 : Taylor (both are good but i prefer Tay’s tone) C5 to Eb5 : Katy E5 : Taylor F5-F#5 : Katy G5 : Taylor Head voice : Katy ofc
Katy is a better singer and she has more power, but Taylor is a better songwriter and she has a really nice tone to her voice. I’m also not biased, half of the songs in my playlist are from Taylor
This is my opinion: Low notes: A3: Katy G#3: Tie (both were pretty well-supported) G3: Katy F#3: Taylor F3: Katy E3: Taylor Eb3: Tie Belted notes: A4: Taylor (one of her best belts TO DATE) Bb4: Tie B4: Katy C5: Tie C#5: Katy D5: Tie Eb5: Katy E5: Taylor F5: Taylor F#5: Tie (neither of them were great tbh) G5: Katy D6: Taylor Lows - Katy Belts - Katy Katy has 13 points and Taylor has 11 points so Katy wins ✨As of 2018, Katy was a better vocalist than Taylor (she still is). Although tbh I was expecting Taylor to win in the lows department considering she was consistent down to F#3/G3 while Katy was consistent down to G#3 with a few good moments on F#3 and G3. Taylor was consistent from F#3 to A4/Bb4 while Katy was consistent from G3 to B4/C5, making Katy's support slightly better than Taylor's. Both of them have underdeveloped head voices but do use their upper registers (falsetto) frequently. I do think Katy is a bit more developed in this area. As for vocal agility, neither of them are particularly agile so I have no comment for this. They're even in the dynamics aspect.
Katy is a FAR better singer. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Katy be quite as bad as Taylor. Katy just has far better breath support, placement, and more open belts. Katy wins everything except E3. Taylor has improved a lot since her debut, though.
LALAINE FLORENDO why? Katy has improved so much so it’s best to show her good vocals from now and with the reputation tour it’s hard to find some good ones beciase of the stupidly loud playback she has
taylor is sooo good she has a lot of potential i bet she will be coming hard w the highnotes next album. she already had the FULL G5 in dwoht and the F5’s and shit its sooo good. especially the F5 in i did something bad it was SO good. she could do some high hv live maybe who knows
A3: katy G#3: katy G3: taylor F#3: tie F3: tie E3: taylor Eb3: both were bad A4: katy Bb4: taylor B4: tie C5: katy C#5: taylor D5: katy Eb5: taylor E5: taylor F5: tie F#5: tie G5: katy D6: katy
Katy has a deeper voice but Taylor seems to be more used to this area. Taylor's mid belts also has a clear quality, but Katy wins the midrange until the top range. Katy simply is just capable of hitting the high notes. I've heard Taylor belt F5-G5 qbut most are shout-like and the "celiing effect" is audible, while Katy places her voice further so it sounds like she can further stretch her voice only if she further work on technique. Overall Katy wins, but they both make good music and dominated a decade of pop music
