Hollie Benfield In general, Katy is better. 8 state championships, they could've got a 10 if weren't for cedar hill. Katy is known for having a very strong defense and running offense Desoto has 4 state champions. Very good offense but their defense gives up a lot of points. If you want to see a battle of the schools best team by year, 2015 Katy will beat 2016 desoto hands down.

Well the same thing happened in 1998 when Katy used an ineligible player. UIL needs to do some more research. SA MacArthur went to state that year instead of Katy.
