Out of ALL the seasons of Drag Race, Katya is still my favorite in and out of drag. I do like Cameron Michaels, but Katya is the one I am willing to drive anywhere to meet. I would love to be able to talk and met him.

I look up to katya the most when it comes to drag racers gals. As a recovering addict myself, I aspire to be successful and clean. She's prospered so much since she sobered up and I hope to do the same. As a fan, I couldn't be prouder if katya/Brian.

I think that I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Katya (Trixie as well) because she actually taught me a lot, on the show, on UNHhhh, thanks to this interview...she’s very smart and quick minded but despite being very talented she keeps her feet on the ground and she’s humble, friendly with anyone. I hope to see her one day.

I fell in love with her instantly and she finds a way to make me love her even more as time goes on. She is one of the only people in the world that actually inspire me and I look up to. I truly hope to have the pleasure of meeting her one day. She is such an amazingly beautiful soul and often changes my view on life and how I approach it. Thank you for making this because she is a universal queen that deserves every bit of love, respect and recognition.

For an entire year, Katya was the only thing that got me through such a tumultuous time at my job. I was ostracized, teased, framed and degraded in a job that I loved to the point where I felt like I had no soul. When I finally got a chance to tell Katya in person that she helped me through this, she was nothing short of fascinating, intrigued, humbled and gracious. For everyone observing the new age of entertainment getting sensitive over what someone said or did, let Katya’s journey serve as context for why people like her do what they do, and the struggle behind it. Above all, realize that there is always more than 1 side to every story and to not make brash decisions so hastily.

Katya is forever my favourite queen. I think it was the moment on Drag Race where she first disclosed that she was struggling with her sobriety, that I connected with her. I was newly sober and feeling that strange "WTF is going on" feeling that you get when you are trying to go about life without that numbness and don't really know where you fit in anymore. I watched her reach out, and speak from the heart about her struggle and thought "ok, this bitch gets it." Her authenticity, her hilarious laugh, her willingness to share a view of the world that sometimes goes against the grain of "normalcy" , and her fragility of being someone who knows how flawed they are but are putting themselves out there none the less, it all makes her so, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this

Brian, Katya, Barbra, I just love you. It’s so refreshing to hear you speak openly about your twelve step program and your meetings and your treatment. I work at a rehab and while I’m not an addict, I am an al-anon and I also live by spiritual principles. It’s amazing to see a queen like you openly and publicly embrace every part of who you are. I wish you the very best and am so proud of you. This shit is hard work, and you’re a strong bitch.

this made me cry when she started speaking about addiction. i have a sister who is also an addict of methamphetamine and seeing katya just talk about how hard it is and how much it fucks you up kills me because i know my sister is dealing with the same shit. thank you for making this. it’s beautiful. i hope my sister can one day have a recovery too. ❤️

I’m struggling with addiction and Katya (and Trixie and all drag queens lately, but mostly Katya no offense) makes me want to stay sober and helps me on my hard days. She’s a queen and I’m so thankful that I’ve discovered her and that she inspires me. She makes me feel a little less lonely through a screen and I’m thankful for her
