That statue is of "Lord Shiva" (The Hindu God). The ritual in this movie is that you have to bath Lord Shiva Statue 1000 times before Puja (Prayer). Hero's mother was obviously facing difficulties to do this ritual, that's why this action happened. In the end, Prabhas said to his mom "Now you can bath the statue not only 1000 times, lot more than that". For more you have to see the movie.. 😊🤗
Hope the context is clear now. The stone he lifted is the idol of Lord Shiva (the Shiv Linga) who is considered the God of destruction among the trinity of gods in Hinduism. His mother had prayed for her son to stop attempting to cross the waterfalls and as an offer to the gods attempted to pour 1000 pots of water over the idol of Lord Shiva. He realises what his mother is doing and decides to help her by lifting the stone idol himself and placing it right beneath the waterfalls so the idol can eternally be bathed by the waters. The song shows the raw strength of the protagonist as well as hints his supernatural ability. Also shows how the gods themselves have blessed him in that he was able to lift the idol that would be super heavy for even 20 strong people. The parts of the song not in Hindi are actually a part of Shiv Stuti/ Shiv Tandav Stotra, in the ancient language Sanskrit (that formed the base for many languages in India) supposedly composed by Asura King Ravana who was a huge devotee of Lord Shiva. This is the same king who is the main antagonist of the epic Ramayana who is estimated to have lived between 5224 BCE and 5104 BCE. The little dance he did at the end is also a homage although not similar to Shiv Tandav that Lord Shiva is believed to do in occasions when he is most pleased (which is the Ananda Tandava) and when most angry or in grief (Rudra Tandava). Lord Shiva is also considered as the God of Dance forms in that he is also known as Nataraja, another iconic idol that is kept in most dance schools across India and wherever Hinduism is practised.
Also i think many people dont know this but shivling is made from a very very very heavy stone its very difficult to pick up the small shivling because its just so heavy , and in the scene they all were shocked as he picked the big shivling effortlessly

Bro the black statue that bahubali pick up its a monument of our Hinduism god lord shiva . And its a way of treating and worshiping god thats why bahubali mom continuously offering water on the statue but she will do it for thousand time and she don't able to do that thats why bahubali trying to pick up the statue and villagers want to stop him because they think god will not forgive him because they think bahubali wants to destroy the statue called shiv ling but bahubali wants to help his mother and place the statur under the water falls.
It's funny that these people and many other cannot even recognize the first ever God of this world 😂( Becoz of Kalyug) and also mocking the video by pausing it and restarting like it's a video game.
I understand that you guys are exploring different content and that's fine but can you please spread it out a bit more for the people who are not fans of Bollywood and Indian cultured content

They will not understand the meaning of these videos because their culture is different. These videos are only for Indians to feel and see and find peace by seeing the idol of Lord Shiva.
