Disaster646 I'm 5'8" and 150. And I've always been categorized as "average" or "medium" in every single height to weight chart I ever saw. I think your guess a bit off.
It's not the bike its physics. The guy on the h2 is about 70lbs heavier. If they were equal body weight the h2 walks away easily. Bodyweight means everything in racing.
There was nothing impressive about what happened here lol. Zx10r needed full bolt ons to mostly match a 100% stock h2. H2 with just the muffler removed made a big difference. A completely stock h2 with just a tune to remove a ton of restrictions would have easily walked the zx10r. Also the rider on the h2 was considerably heavier. He was 245lbs while the zx10r rider was roughly 160lbs. That's a huge weight advantage when it comes to these bikes and just further shows how impressive a stock untuned h2 is.
@@ayamgorengresing well if ur comparing brand new bikes the H2 cost more butttttt, its practically impossible to find a brand new H2 here and the closest u can find is a pre-owned H2 with like 1000 miles on it which is cheaper than a brand new ZX10R
Richard Anthony Cause drag racing is all that matter's on a bike like that. Fuck corner's fuck, the novelty and fuck how it deliver's power. All that matter's is the quarter mile time...
vidurc maybr, but the way I see it, bang for buck, I'm better off getting something else, mod the shit out of it, have fun on the track, and all that, not having to explain why there's winglets on it, because a wing on anything makes it faster, or handle better. Like a massive wing on a mini van.
Richard Anthony Engineer's in the past have done some stupid shit in the name of sales. This bike actually generates downforce with those wings. Either way, you're right as far as bang for your buck goes, however that can be said for most any bikes in the market. Why buy new when you can buy a used bike and do whatever you want to it. That's what I did with my CBR but I can't hate on anyone buying one brand new. Yes you can boost an Busa or ZX14 or ZX10 and still have money left over. However at the end of the day Kawasaki has done this before in the 80's and those bikes were a novelty to own and helped the company develop other more exciting bikes. This is the same. Its better that it actually made it to production than sit as a concept to be forgotten tomorrow. With a couple bolt on's or even a change to the boost this bike can be quite potent.
I think everyone is missing the point. Even with a rider weighing 90lbs more, look how much faster the H2 got just by removing the stock muffler. That means it gained a lot of power, once again proving it's easy to get power out of a boosted engine. What other power awaits with the H2?
Kawasaki definitely had people's pants down with the H2 Zx10r is faster with what 1k of upgrades and will go round a track faster. I feel sorry for these guys.
You guys should probably mention the 90 lbs rider weight difference in the video or the title. Unless you're just trying to create undeserved negative press for the H2.
***** We feel most people can determine that themselves after watching this footage. This is real video footage from a real event, we are unbiased and let you guys build your own opinions.
Yeah, I can respect that. Especially since both bikes are from the same manufacturer. It's just a bit unfortunate that the video has the perfect circumstances to be misleading to people who aren't paying attention.
***** It was hard enough for us to keep track of trap speeds and then work that into the video. asking for rider weight/height etc is asking for alot. We try our best.
TheBayAreaRacing Oh, no no. I meant just a small caption or something in the title or even in the description to let people know of this particular instance, since 90 lbs would make a much more significant impact than "bolt on" mods or whatnot. But I agree, weight wouldn't matter much in most cases where the difference isn't 1/5 of the vehicle's anyway. No need to change how you make videos. I should have said it better.
***** 90lbs LMFAO there isn`t 90lbs it dont matter doh one has a SC one has a NA 1 has MUCH TQ from the beginning 1 dont have TQ this means that the big guns such as 1400cc or 1000cc with SC dont matter if your small the problem then would be wheelie on a SC bike its actually better to be heavy as in holding it down.. Now the H2 also has better MASS this will already affect hugh even at 110mph all the way until 180mph+ or whaeva the top speed is hugh advatage to H2 i`am 220lbs suited and i`ve done as good acceleration data on my VBOX as 170-190lbs test riders in magazines the reason for that i have a hugh windscreen.. So with all the TQ and the SC and the MASS overall still advantage to H2 but this was a clear victory to ZX10R amazing how she goes.. BTW my hp4 and zx10r gen 4 both bikes i`ve gone 180mph in half mile with 220lbs yea thats skills.. or the HP4 did 178mph and the zx10r did 182mph..
Rambito Yeah the actual difference in weight between the riders was 90 lbs according to Yaschar Rad, the H2 rider. That is more than 1/5th of the weight of the ZX10R, and creates a massive difference. If the riders had been switched, the H2 probably would have shot out like a rocket ship. lol
my 07 zx10r tops out at about 174 with it being geared makes 170hp. Also smoke my buddies brand new zx10r which supposedly make about 200hp but he has about 80lb on me. That weight makes a giant difference with bikes. My buddy would need about 50 extra hp to keep up or beat me. At the end of the day he has a faster bike but a big disadvantage on weight
Stage 2 supercharger kit from brocks, ECU flash and slip-on exhaust on the h2. That H2 would walk all other liter bikes with similar mods. Removing the stock exhaust allowed the exhaust to flow more freely. All the stock exhaust does is meet emissions and noise compliances. It does so by restricting the flow of the exhaust.
OK, this is NOT a stock 160 hp ZX10R. And yes, giving up that much extra rider weight is a serious penalty. Have the riders switch bikes, the stock H2 with the lighter rider will smoke that built ZX10R. The H2 stock is about 200 hp at the wheel. Add an exhaust and have Don Guhl re-flash the ECU and you will be at 240+ rear wheel hp.
Instead of a 32 bit computer for sport bikes why not put a AMD RYZEN 7000 CPU AND GPU INSTEAD? And implant the body of the bike w/ some Electroluminescent strips that change color for speed and blink for turn signals.
Thank you for the vid people! Some excellent piece of racing. For sure the H2 rider is heavier than the 10r rider and that does play a major role. We've seen that before demonstrated on fulltiltlife vids.. Does the 10r have the launch control activated?? The H2/R is a statement that kawasaki is among the premium brands, not just another japanese brand. What is to be tested and disscused is not the power of these machines but their track performance. Both the H2 and H2R have the same geometry with the B model ZX12R,wheelbase/rake/trail and about 10kgs differance in weight(H2). Does this the geometry resemble the MGP GP1 DUCATI Stoner used to race? Is the KYB suspension kawasaki choosed better than the latest Ohlins??
Okay so here's the explanation. The 2011 ZX10R was and still is a really fast bike. There weren't many restrictions back then from factory compared to the latest 10R with euro 4 n 5. So this 10R even if it's not flashed still makes a good 180+rwhp H2 I stock form makes 200+rwhp at top. H2 weighs more and 10r is lighter. Here the rider on H2 weighs more and 10r has a lighter rider. Thus it goes breakeven. Nonetheless, H2 might be a monster in overall rev range but bone stock bike at higher revs equals out.
Wow that guy looked way too big for the H2... I'm a fan of both bikes but that would make a hell of a difference! the H2 sounds nice and the supercharger is awesome. I still wouldn't want 1 over my ZX12R.
Why I like the H2 and H2R 1.Color layout, weird because I had the black chrome, and a solid navy blue idea instead of green, design. 2.The Chirping. 3.That's it.
+Jason Katsoutas They have modified the bike with all the parts you can "bolt on" to increase power. They're bolt on mods because there is no change to the engines internal components, just external modifications - air filters, exhausts, computers etc.
JemN3ye 870 it means its modded fully, it probably has a turbo ecu flash and all kinds of other things probably weight reduction etc that makes it fast
There was a company that made supercharger kits for the 10r.. would love to get one for mine.. almost turbo’d my 14 but then I asked myself... whyyyyy??😂😂😂😵
HEKTIC458 The riders' weight difference was 90 lbs. It's like attaching 550 lbs to one car in a drag race. Makes a huge difference. I believe if the riders had been switched or even similar weight riders, the H2 would have been far out front.
There are two kinds of countries. Those that have the most school shootings and suicides in the world. And those that have had 0 school shootings yet. (Denmark). Btw. many EU countries have gone to the moon, and US did use metric system when building the parts since many was from JAPAN and it had to fit right //Martine Engineer
Put your big girl panties on,,, None of my guns (plural) have ever broken a law. Molon Labe! The only footprints on the moon are American and metric was not used on those vehicles.
Crazy thing is, look at this way.. Zx10r has the weight advantage . . . H2 has the power advantage. In order to make the race,"Even," put a smaller rider on the H2 and a supercharger on the zx10r. zx10r will come out on top lol
Most definitely people don't want to hear that I got a 2014 kawasaki zx10r ECU flashed power commander full Exhaust system the M4 bro all I can say it's fast very fast 2 fast the bike just pulls and pulls and pulls like a boss.
with price comparison. there should of been a huge gap between the 2 bikes. To me zx10 is still king. that's all I get for a 20 k bike. I'll stick to me zx10. zx14. gsxr 1000 and hybusa. NOT IMPRESSED NEXT!
This is what I mean,,people think they have the fastest bike in the world,,,people talking about there stock bike hitting 195,,and busas hitting 200mph stock,,,wake up,, this is proof right here

That zx10 has an idiot driver it could do way better cause I own one and this revs F*cked the whole thing up. revs on first revs on second gear as well that's too bad
Not only the bike but also the rider should have enough potential to ride h2 and this rider doesn't have enough potential to ride h2 and the guy on the zx10r is much greater rider the the h2
Buy a zx10r for 12k UK sterling. Can you imagine how good it would be with 10 grands worth of upgrades. Im not digging at this guys H2 it's a gorgeous bike just can't see the value when you need to spend more money on it to make it as fast as an upgraded zx10 like shouldn't that be the idea. Bye an H2 and you won't need to spend more?
